I don't get why people are whining about lack of romance scene, in a drama that isn't even tagged as romance. MDL says it is law, life and drama. Netflix says it is Korean, Courtroom TV Progammes and Social Issues TV Dramas

It has enough romance for a drama that isn't marketed as romance. If they really want romance, they should watch some drama from Romance Genre. Jesus, it is like this is a the first time they are seeing a drama where romance is not main part of the story.

I think people are obsessed with WYW's half brother because every scene and dialogue in the show is essential to plot. Even the first episode, the landlord who was suspicious of WYW's dad, ended up being the victim on the first case. WYW's relationship with victim and defendant played a role in how the case played out in the Court.

But, it is quite possible that half-sibling was mentioned because WYW's maternal grandfather forced WYW's mom to abandon WYW because of the importance he placed on career. It would be ironic, if the granddaughter he abandoned turned out to be way more successful than the grandson he has. The half-brother can play a role in the plot without even being on the screen. I don't get why people think he must be one of the character with screen time.

Also, Emperors are often wary of Princes for a reason. So, we can't really equate Emperor to CSS's mom.

It reminds me of a scene from The Crown, they tried to explain why the Queen of England doesn't show motherly affection towards the Prince of Wales [which is British equivalent of Crown Prince]. Now, imagine in the ancient world, where a coup was common.

WYW is confession is the cutest one I have ever seen. I get very cynical and suspicious whenever someone confesses to me. But if someone did the way WYW does, like it is cold, irrefutable fact. I would definitely lose my sh*t.

I like that they have left those interaction off the screen. It gives the feeling of watching your friend starting a relationship. You don't know the intimate details of their relationship. You see a guy who has fallen head over the heels for your friend. And you pay attention to this guy mainly because you know he likes your friend. You don't care much about him, all you care about is, how does he treat your friend?

Exactly! if the story is not about autistic person falling in love, it is about an autistic attorney. Just as the name suggests. I don't get why people are bothered by less ML screen time, and ML-FL interaction on screen.

I am sure you have seen action movies, where the FL's entire identity is being ML's love interest and "weakness". I maybe wrong, but I have never seen people complain about such a FL's lack of depth.

I don't mind that the only thing we know about ML is that he likes FL. I like that it is FL and autism centric story, it focus on her work, her relationship with her father, co-workers, and clients. ML holds as much as weight as other characters in her social circle. We don't expect any other character's backstory. Why only for him?

FYI, in the ep 8, SY mentions how ML and FL have been having lunch everyday together. It's not like their relationship developed quickly, and out of the blue. It is just not given screentime.
