Nope, this is not a recast. It's more of a reboot, it happens every few years.

The premise is quiet weird, especially a lot of J-league player retired at the age of 32-36 or at least went to Semi-pro league at the age of 34-37.

Agreed, also they're taking too much of personal feeling towards the rating.

If I remember correctly, there is a decent comedy show that got badly rated due to the main lead is stalking the female lead in few episodes lol.

So since the source material haven't ended yet, I think that the current ending is quiet good. But they're gonna regret it if the SM ending have a much better build-up. this set of cast is really2 good, Maida Nono is irreplaceable.

Takako's death f***** this show, high budget procedural and that's it.

The show started really well until the 4th episode. The rest of it is quiet mediocre.

This drama and Keizoku are the pioneer of modern Japanese comedy procedural, must watch.
