Everyone has the right to ship whoever they want. If you genuinely feel that the show is queerbaiting, then maybe…
That’s not really accurate.
The show has been trending #1 globally every week and stayed #1 on Viu for weeks, so the “no noise” claim just doesn’t line up.
And reading themes like power structures into fantasy isn’t unusual at all that’s literally basic subtext in worldbuilding. It doesn’t automatically turn the story into “a show about capitalism.” And calling it “baiting undertones” just because characters have chemistry or a deep emotional bond is a reach. The story is framed around soulmates and open interpretation. Not everything needs to be forced into one reading when the creators haven’t defined it that way.
People can enjoy it however they want same way others can engage with it without twisting it into something it isn’t. End of discussion.
the switch-up in these comments since the show started is crazy. people ruthlessly defended against the queerbaiting…
Everyone has the right to ship whoever they want. If you genuinely feel that the show is queerbaiting, then maybe it's simply not the show for you. No one is forcing you to watch it.
Many people are enjoying the series because it delivers on so many levels the writing, production, acting, cast chemistry, and overall storytelling are all excellent. Reducing everything the show offers to just "queerbaiting" because fans are shipping certain characters overlooks what makes the series special.
If you don't enjoy it, that's completely fine. But constantly criticizing people for enjoying something or for having their own ships isn't fair either. Let people enjoy what they like. At some point, it starts to feel less like criticism and more like an obsession when someone follows everything about a show just to hate on it. If you don't like it, move on and spend your time on something you actually enjoy instead of trying to ruin the experience for others.
I want to start by saying that I am loving this show so far, but I have to get this off my chest.I have always…
Actually, the creators said this show is open to interpretation and that it's about soulmates. That's why I don't understand why some people still insist on calling it a bromance.
With *High School Frenemy*, the cast and creators repeatedly described it as a bromance, and they made that clear many times. Of course, people still shipped the characters, and that's completely normal.
But with this series, neither the cast nor the director has ever called it a bromance. Instead, they've consistently described it as a story about soulmates and have said that viewers can interpret the relationship however they want.
omg haters are even here!!! If you hate the series and them that much so why the obsession with them??
It's just that the word is used too much to throw hate on the boys daily, so it triggers fans. And with that said, I hope you will like the rest of the series as well...
omg haters are even here!!! If you hate the series and them that much so why the obsession with them??
And the only thing you have to say about the show is the word everyone is throwing at the actors daily to hate on them?? Like, if you enjoy the show, how about talking about the story, the acting, the chemistry!! Leaving everything else and just throwing this word at them is just a hater move! And yes, I'm queer myself, and I don't think using this word is a positive thing or not a big deal as you said...
omg haters are even here!!! If you hate the series and them that much so why the obsession with them??
queerbait is not a word to throw at people like this. The actors never said once that the show is a bromance its just the people throwing the word at them. The only thing they said is that the show is not a romance show. Its focus is on missions and the action aspect, so about the relationship between them, they are soulmates, and that you can take their relationship as you see it, as they never said the characters are straight??
Honestly, if GMM gives Skynani a strong script and a solid budget for a BL show, they’ll absolutely take it. But if it’s a half-baked production with low effort, they’re not going to settle for that. They’ll stick with projects that have proper production value and a real budget...because that’s the level they deserve.
not really both sky and nani said they will do a bl if they liked the script and the story given to them... so let's wait for gmm to give them a good bl plot not a repetitive one
Just saying.
