Lastly, when Seung Hyo said the dialogues to his mom, 'I really missed you,' how many of you were reminded of the same acting nuances of Baek Hyun Woo from Queen of Tears? I personally thought Jung Hae In was inspired by Kim Soo Hyun's performance and applied it here, which is superb as well.👍

And I think good intimate or kiss scenes are shown in What's Wrong with Secretary Kim and Suspicious Partner, which are among the few dramas where both the director and actors excel in their craft.

But from a different perspective, we can't even complain about it in K-dramas because, even in world cinema, intimate scenes are both terrible and just plain shit nowadays.

Yes, that's right. But In most K-dramas, I find the kiss scenes very awkward and lacking in real emotion. For example, when a character is portrayed as free-spirited and carefree, like your next-door girl or guy, they suddenly act completely different during intimate or kiss scenes. It's as if they lose the essence of their character, and the emotions in those moments just don't feel genuine. You know what I mean?

I know they're trying to create funny scenes, but often, I wonder why K-drama kisses are so awkward. It's like the characters, even in their 30s, kiss as if they're naive teenagers. The recipient behaves as if he doesn't know anything about it, almost childlike—even though he already has a child! 😃 The chemistry is completely missing.
By the way, this is just a general perspective, not specifically about this drama. And The 2nd lead are the best thing to watch & look forward actually.

I've previously pointed out many technical flaws in this drama, but after watching episode 10, I'm at a loss for words. It's a mix of emotions that I can't quite articulate—I'm unsure whether I'm happy with it or not. Is this drama actually good? Is it worth my time to dedicate 90 minutes to it? I just don't know. One thing is certain, though: my stomach aches and my heart feels like it's going to burst from the emotional pain I experienced while watching these scenes.

After watching Episode 9: Technically, the last 15 minutes are very good, with some laughs and good performances, well-directed & i enjoyed seung hyo's parents scene, very well included by director.
However, the whole episode is melodramatic and depressing. The performances also lapse many times, and I can't feel the chemistry of love. The drama has lost its path by a long shot. The editing is very poor, and I don't understand why the first 50 minutes are unnecessarily stretched. We know what the director wants to tell us, no need for long backstories constantly reminding us, as it breaks the flow. The screenplay and dialogues are disappointing. This drama is not what was promised. I'm disappointed and 10th episode is the last hope for me otherwise, I'll have to drop it. Thank you.

Korean writers seem to be obsessed with this idea of first love, falling in love with someone at 5 years old, and somehow staying in love for years. As for the comedy, I'm not saying you need laugh-out-loud moments, but the characters should be placed in situations that are inherently comedic. A good example is the ongoing drama *No Gain, No Love*. The scenes don’t have to be that realistic, but the execution needs to be on point—like when the son finds out his mom's been reading fantasy novels. That's good comedic writing.

But in this drama, take the scene where she's feeding Hae In and her ex—the whole setup feels awkward. Or the moment when Hae In regrets confessing his feelings, and the scenes between them the next day—do those flow smoothly for you? This show was marketed as a rom-com, but it's far from reality. It's trying to juggle too many things and is becoming more and more melodramatic. I could write much more, but that's where I stand.

I'm writing that long and talking so much means I'm disappointed because both are my favorite actors. And I'm not saying it as a bad drama.

For your info I have been watching dramas for 5 years, so I know where it's going & how it's going to end, it's not a rocket science. & the leads are my fav actors. It's my honest and constructive criticism because it's disappointing & sad to watch it.

It’s not about the romance, or lover thing but the screenplay—it’s dull and not engaging at all. Why always bring back the exes for both leads to show the jealousy, i mean why? The male lead's ex returns, and then the female lead's ex comes back too—it's a complete mess. The male lead feels weak, and there’s no chemistry. We're at Episode 7, and they’re still dragging out the same storyline, with many unnecessary scenes that could’ve been cut. Also, why always show the Korean male lead as clueless, like when he buys so many ointments? There are better ways to show care. These small details need to be polished, especially when it’s a drama with a big cast that’s bound to get a lot of attention.

Yes, that's true. Nine out of ten dramas are like that, and honestly, it's getting boring. I've been watching K-dramas for about five years now, and finding something unique and different has become really difficult. Yes, bro... I’m enjoying every bit of "No love no gain"—my current favorite. That’s how rom-com dramas should be. Sure, there are some minor flaws and imperfections, as in any drama, but I’m not even focused on them. It’s superbly paced and highly engaging.

What is going on here? This feels so immature, and I already know how it’s going to end—same stereotypical, strategic screenplay. Nothing new, nothing fresh. I just tortured myself for an hour, excluding the child actor’s scenes. The supporting cast scenes are great, and I’m enjoying every bit of them, but the male lead’s scenes are dull and not engaging at all. Seung Ho is just pathetic, and I feel so bad for him, but I don’t get his character’s motivation at all. It feels like I’m watching the same thing on repeat, which isn't what I signed up for.
