MTL means machine translation, basically Google Translate. It's messy, like you see in the SVIP episodes. But you get the idea if you have read enough c- novels or watched enough c-dramas.
Thank you for your kind words. Royalty is something I would describe the author who gave us this fantastic story, definitely not me. I just looked at MTL and pinyin, compared them and did my best to translate the novel. I was happy to share this fantastic story with everyone, and it felt worth it seeing everyone loving it.

His cousin admits defeat, but she does get the last laugh. She says, you put your woman's company on line to win against me. I wonder, would you wish for her to stay with you despite all this, or would you rather she left you? (Cause if JX stays, it signifies that she didn't care about what he did, which meant that she didn't care for him in the first place).

They go to a conference, there HT and JX (who is now working as VC of Hanhai-Xingchen merger company under Dongyang) both get jealous. First it was HT seeing JX sitting at a table with the guy who was pursuing her. Until then, I guess, JX did not realize the guy was pursuing her. He confesses to her then, to which she replies she already has someone else she likes. Then gets up, turns around and sees HT sitting together with ZD at another table. She gets super jealous and runs off to get some food. HT's inner feeling was funny: "Was she playing a game where the official could light the fire but the common people couldn't?" Implying that she can sit at a table with other men while he can't sit at a table with other women?
So he follows her and they have another discussion. He says, what will you do if I really did move on? Do you think about it? You are already like this now, what will happen then? That's when, I guess, JX gets a wake up call and finally relents that they will have a talk when they go back to Beijing. JX leaves first to Beijing while HT had to stay back. It was night time, and then she gets kidnapped.
As for ZD, HT announces in the last chapter that he will make the Doctorcloud research available for all to study and learn. This will thus cause ZD's company to fall in stocks, in turn, it also causes Tongke's downfall.
LL is not involved with XYX. XYX is actually in two novels written by same author. Both novels have some connections. HT almost got engaged to the FL of the other novel. The other novel got made into drama, Fireworks in My Heart. XYX character is also in that drama, if you have watched it, you might recognize him as SML and FL's best friend.
LL was involved with a married guy in the novel. The guy she introduced to JX for investments. She is also the one who played the matchmaker to SYC and his new girlfriend. Of all friends JX has, Wei Qiuzi was the only decent one in the novel, lol. And they kind of made her the bad guy in the drama.

Yeah, they only broke up for 6 months in the novel. I hope they stick with that.
But, to be frank, I actually felt the break up was necessary in the novel and did not hate it all. Both of them have communicated with each other a lot better when they were broken up as compared to when they were together. Like they were slowly bridging the gap that broke them up. There were no misunderstandings piling up between them during this time, nor were there anyone else playing the antagonist to drive them further apart.
Ji Xing recalling Han Ting's definition of love at the end just broke the dam for me.
Han Yuan was definitely not involved. Once she admitted her defeat, she actually got along with Han Ting well.
Grandpa Han was always very agreeable to HT and JX dating. He even wrote a calligraphy "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and sent it to her lol.
