Most likely it is influenced by a real story and also changed perhaps. Wouldn't really know if it is based on actors playing the characters, but interesting post.

It reminds me my beloved "The Love of Siam" a lot.
Oh yes! I think The love of siam is in some way better realistically because the main character gets rejected so he knows his answer. Whereas in this series, Teh always gives hope but also rejection continuously, making Oh confused and hurt. Amazing storytelling in both!

I think he loves Oh so much that he is crying out of desperation and anger that his feelings are so strong! I think most of us have been through such emotions, is like a total heart break. Very sad but beautifully displayed.

I think the running scenes in one of the music videos, is because Teh is always trying to keep up with Oh. Oh is very good looking and has some great influence on his social media portrayed in the series Ep1. Oh also has a rich family with two parents, whereas Teh only has a mum (no father figure). Teh most likely wants to be like Oh in some way and is deeply caring about him, whereas Oh is more free and accepting of himself. Thats just my opinion. Enjoy
