I was hesitating to watch the series as the first review were luke warm? ... But I started watching it nevertheless and I absolutely love it! First 2 EPs were to enjoyable I might watch them again :) Hope the character development lasts till the end.
I've never seen the two leads' previous series, but checking the comments here, it is Fish Upon the Sky (???)…
I actually quite liked it. Yes, it is following clichés and stuff but the leads had a great chemistry. I also quite liked the comedy aspect of the series.
This series is surpassing all my expectations. Rain is an absolute cutie, must protecc! Their chemistry is also really well portrayed. and the score music? Absolutely beautiful, the montage of Rain working and the song "Baby" by Adrián Berenguer in the background was stunning and emotional.
Really? I'm deciding between Vice Versa and Unforgotten Night... Which one would you recommend?(I do not really…
Surprisingly, I've watched 5 episodes of Unforgotten Night in a row and it did not feel like a complete brain rot. It is true that the romance is kinda just there and so...but is okayish. I'm really reluctant to watch vice versa because people see it as boring... I think that is worse than bad writing. :D
Nooo... I made a mistake... I started watching it so I have to suffer each week waiting for a new episode. btw, 3 eps so far and it is SO GOOD! The acting, plot, chemistry... everything! I'm glad that people who doubted Khaotung and his ability to play a bad boy are proven wrong :) and First is so handsome and talented!
From what I read across multiple socials - it was originally supposed to be a year long series (or at least something…
Yes. I think that also the lack of English translations is to blame :) It took quite some time for the series to be subbed on YT. So international fans are kept in the dark for the most time. (I too heard that the series was quite popular and the ratings were good.) So yeah, maybe this was just to test if a BL sitcom can succeed. I just wish that Earth will join new projects (or the potential season 2) cause I enjoyed him the most in the series.
You should watch red wine and dark night You can see that he’s a very good actor also I don’t think he intentionally…
I did not mean it ithat it is the actor's choice to portray that character as shy. I am just wondering why he accepts such roles and why creators still make such characters. Why not make a new character that is not as overused and stereotyped. Anyway, I was just wondering... I guess only Fluke knows :D
Finally finished it. Really liked it but I felt like the last episode focused on so many things only for the romance to climax in a couple of seconds...
I ended up enjoying this more than I thought I would. The first 4-5 episodes were hard for me to get into but…
From what I read across multiple socials - it was originally supposed to be a year long series (or at least something much much longer than the 15 eps we got now). People usually blame COVID and related stuff for the delay in production, loss of money and so the series was (allegedly) shortened. Fans want a second season but nothing has been confirmed yet. People saw lots of promotion way after the series finished so they are hoping for a season 2 - and, I think it would make sense... the production has to have some unused material/plot. But who knows. Nothing is happening so far. I also know only little but here you go :)
I tend to write long comments, but that does not mean it necessarily takes me a long time to do so. I can compose…
enjoy your long comments. I did not say not to write them. 😃 some people just need to chill a little. It's not that serious. And maybe read my comment again - it is just a rant. Nothing too deep. So don't need to get defensive.
ALSO! (sry for today's rant, imma stop) does Fluke only play shy guys that avoid any skinship/physical contact whatsoever? I mean, I get it that there are lots of different sexualities and queer people who do not need sex or intimate touch... But that is really not the point here. This "shy guy" thing is so abnoxious and in UWMA it was like that for the whole series (even my fiancé, who only saw snippets of the series, could not stand it whenever Fluke whined "P'Dean" and just squirmed away from his touch). I found it kinda realistic when Chun had this whole fantasy with Rain. And I do not need sexual tension with every pair, but please, do not flinch as if you touched a piece of hot iron when you accidentally touch eachother.
At this point, I think Unforgotten night is so much better than this. it's sad, really, Coz I like the actors…
Really? I'm deciding between Vice Versa and Unforgotten Night... Which one would you recommend? (I do not really care about the execution of the SciFi...I just want the characters to follow a certain sense of logic... so a bare minimum :D )
I just binged 7 episodes (cause waiting for this shizz weekly would break my sanity) and it is not half bad. It is true that I skip the orchestra scenes... because I cringe too much (downside of coming from a musical family). Yeah, and some of the long ass scenes where nothing happens but the camera just zooms in... I skip that too. But otherwise, it is decent. It is true that I like Rain/Phayoo more. But I am biased - Noh is just one hella atractive guy. I loved him in Nitiman (even though that was also quite an average series) so I just simp... and he can turn up the heat in seconds (like in Nitiman). I would be lying if I said that I'm not liking OhmFluke, but the apples just make me laugh out loud... and whenever Sun collapses I have the urge to send him into a hospital. Since we are halfway through, I hope that it does not go downhill...
This series should be called: "How to take a hint that someone is just not into you." The number of people forcing their feelings onto others is just ridiculous. And I get it that their feelings are valid, but if they clearly see that the other person avoids them like the plague and treats them coldly and does not even want to share the same air (or room) with them - just take the mf hint and give up. Have some dignity. Look around and see that there is someone else waiting for you. ffs And the fact that noone tells them that they should maybe stop...
Kinda agree, but I think that skilled actors should also know how to "act" out a kiss scene. 🙄I do not know…
(fyi I'm stuck at ep 8 but still I think I can join the discussion lol) I mean yeah. "You can't kiss the guy? Let's change the script then and convey the feelings differently." I mean: hugs, cuddling, whatever. If the point of the show is to show their affection then they should find a way around an underwhelming kiss. Park/Lee were absolutely amazing even in the intimate scenes. They were just natural. If the main couple cannot do the same, just think of a different solution. Or just find different actors. I guess some production teams know that there is an audience for everything so why even try to make the show better. Park/Lee were stealing the show since the beginning (same goes for Bomb/Bear). Not sure if I'll finish it now 😀
Their chemistry is also really well portrayed.

(yea, also doubt they are writing such essays and doing "research" for their assignments lol)
I hope the people writing essays put as much effort into their school assignments.
Holy shit.
