So good!! Actually I lie, it was freaking awesome!! I just wish we had gotten more episodes, this joy of a drama ended too soon. Hope it gets another season if that is even possible. It is based off a webtoon so fingers crossed.

Very good points. I just hope they all learn from that death and improve as a team. The hint at a strike has me a bit concerned.

First of all I want to thank you for your medical services you do as GS surgeon. I highly admire those who help others like doctors, police officers, firefighters, etc with that said, I am not a kid. I am a woman, and I wasn't lecturing you. I was stating what I saw occur in the episode and what I felt as my take on the situation. You are more than welcome to counter my comment and with very good points too. That is what this entire episode was about, people's different takes on a very sad and serious situation. I understand you coming from the medical aspect of this and I am sure your experience and way you see things medically and otherwise made you reach that conclusion. I come from a political and law aspect of things and on a more emotional level. Doctors deal with death all the time so I know they have to see and balance things differently, they have to put their emotions on the side to help patients. But again that is what this episode is about, who was in the wrong, who did what and what could have been done better, that is the whole lesson the writers are trying to show here. Master Kim was not asking anyone to perform any surgery on any of his patients. The resident called another doctor that is not in their area to help. I understand that is how Master Kim normally works, go all out to save each patient as they come but we also have to remember why he build the trauma center in the first place so that doctors don't have to go far and beyond to do the impossible in impossible situations. I hope you don't take others comments as a means to lecture you or offend you in any way. This is a community of people who love watching kdramas and like to interact with each other please leave your medical highchair where it belongs in the medical field and in the kdrama world.

I believe there was a delay. They started to give him treatment amd get him ready for surgery and then had to open him up. Once they opened him up he was already bleeding way too much. They managed to stop most of the bleeding but he had a few more areas that were causing bleeding and then he went into cardiac arrest. Trauma patients sometimes only have very limited time to be saved if they are very serious cases and he just ran out of time. That is why even Master Kim was upset when he came out of his surgery to find Dr. Cha Eun in the other operating room. But that is what I took from the episode.

Needless to say, Kang dang killed the first patient by not asking for help and he even has non-trauma patient…
The child is a trauma patient. The child was supposed to go there but was eventually sent to the ER to prevent his death due to lack of doctors since Cha Eun went to the ER and did an unauthorized surgery on a patient that the ER had the doctors to operate on. The mistake first started because they didn't inform Master Kim how long he had for his surgery to be over and they just assumed he had a lot of time still. She wanted to operate on someone period and that is why she rushed over. She was even told to inform Master Kim and she didn't, she ignored that order. The doctor who called her should have also called Master Kim first before calling her and just assuming his surgery was going to still take a long time which it didn't. The reason Master Kim was asked at the beginning if he wanted to take the child was because they didn't have enough doctors for all the trauma patients that arrived. The child wasn't critical at that exact moment, but he was still a trauma patient, so he did fit the situation of going to either one. The ER patient was supposed to go to the ER and be operated by Master Kim because he was already going to be done with the one, he was operating on. His situation wasn't as critical as they made it seem. If Dr. Cha Eun hadn't left all three could have been saved. Master Kim would have operated on the patient she operated on. Dr. Kang on the child and she on the one that died since he was the most critical of the three. The other one could have waited until Cha Eun or Kang finished and then he would have been operated on. All four patients would have been saved.

On Dr. Romantic Season 3 Jun 9, 2023
Cha Eun Jae really got me mad today. She caused one death in her struggle to say another. She could have easily caused 3 deaths. I've never felt so strongly that she should be fired and that is with me really liking her before this episode. She and Lee Seon Wung need to be reprimanded. There was no reason for an ER doctor to call a trauma doctor for help with their patient and vice versa. He should have called Master Kim to find out how much time he had and to tell him about the situation not just assume. All 3 trauma patients were made to wait to get surgery in an attempt to stabilize them and when one went into critical for waiting too long, he ended up dying. That is why patients go to certain hospitals according to their situation. The ambulance people are also at fault for not knowing the difference, that is why they should call ahead explain the situation and then they are told where to take them. The little boy could have easily been another repeated case like the last one. Gosh, why is it so hard to follow rules and order, did they forget why the trauma center was built? The trauma center is not another ER. And the fact that there will be a strike in the next episode makes the whole reason why she rebelled in this one pointless, she did it to save lives at least in her view and yet now they don't care about lives but more on the ability to do what they like when they like. The real reason for her rebellion is because she was bored, she wanted to operate. If the situation was reversed and she worked in the ER and the trauma was packed she would have gone running over leaving her ER patients.

Drama is fun but it is very inconsistent and illogical.in one episode, the ML is doing Olympic level acrobatics…
It feels like they do him dirty just to throw in a few jokes. Also, the captain got very weak and took forever to fight just two guys to throw in more danger.

Ah next week we will be bidding this series goodbye. Cant believe its almost near the end already, this journey…
Oh wow, this series felt like it was going by so slow as in episodes being released but now I can't believe either that it is about to be over.
