I also like how the cases they take in a way help them reach their own resolution or understand the other or their situation better. Like the one with the actor where he wanted to run the cheating woman over, it touched on the bases of learning to move on. And in this latest one it talked about what would have happened if they had a kid and divorced and the kid would be stuck in having to choose one parent over the other.

Agree. He knew he would have to raise the child probably more on his own since the FL didn't like even cleaning. And he would have to compromise to two people now not just her. It would exhaust him far more than he was willing to do.

Oh yes, forgot about that part. Yes, he was super worried. And rightfully so. I fell off one of those and ended up cutting the top of my head with a part of the cement that was showing near the bar leg. But then again I was hanging upside down on the ladder part of the bars lol

Very good points. I agree with you on the friend, I try to like her and I understand that people especially women now a days should be allowed to be more open and freer in what types or relationships they want to have. But I didn't like that she was upset at the guy for not getting it right away and not going with the flow and just drop it. He is also struggling to go against his own ideals and the way he was raised and how society made him think. She just needs to give him some time and respect that he doesn't understand her ways yet. You can't make people agree with your way of thinking right off the bat, you have to let them decide on their own. Just like she doesn't like how society is trying to make her be the typical housewife and can't have relationships unless you plan to marry she should respect that he has his own ways of thinking.

She could have also refused the alimony, or had it lowered, at least to my understanding they can do that. But because she was angry for the cheating, she asked for that much to try and get back at him and hurt him through having him pay so much. The other case we saw had the guy ask for a certain amount of alimony from his ex wife who is also an actress and refused to lower it. So, yeah she could have lowered it but she didn't. I think paying alimony is crazy in the first place but I am guessing it is like child support but more in regard to the damage they do to the person because they have to divorce and for the cheating and all the damage that comes from that.

I think it might have been a childhood friend or someone he knew who died at the age that the little is at. He gets nightmares of the person and has trouble sleeping at times because he sees the dead person in his sleep. That is what I got from it. That is what also happened when he was watching a movie at night when the FL made him watch a horror movie. He was having trouble sleeping due to the nightmares.

I don't think he was against kids, he likes kids, but he realized seeing his sister all worn out and tired that he knew he would end up the same. He knew how the FL is and was and she would not help in raising the child equally. She didn't even like washing the dishes and he always did the cleaning. Raising a kid requires so much effort and time. He knew he couldn't do it alone and refused to do it alone.

I agree. I am super mad still that the stealing the evidence to show to the other lawyer wasn't addressed and they got away with doing something illegal. I was also upset that the FL went after the case just to get back at him when it's a child's future you are dealing with here. And the father broke the mother's arm, just how much force and violence was there for him to break her arm, like for reals. I like both main characters and am trying to understand both but when she let the friend steal that form from his office, I was like heck no, she should not allow that even if she is trying to win the case.

I am a bit thrown back by how so many people are so stuck in the fact that he lied about the affair to get a divorce. (Before anyone goes at me, I was cheated on as well and ended up rasing my son all by myself because our engagement fell through to his cheating behavior) In a society where it is driven in you that a divorce is bad and laws are set where if both parties doesn't agree then there can't be a divorce. What other choice was he left with then to trick her and give her a reason to agree to the divorce? Here in the US you can't get a divorce either unless both parties agree or if one has a history of violence where your life is in danger. And even then you have to go to lengths to get it approved by the judge. Also, the tv scene showed way more than her just making him watch a horror movie when he was trying to watch a slow burn movie to help him fall asleep. The FL was very demanding and wanted to go to sleep but when he didn't want to go to sleep she decided to stay with him and watch the movie together. Yet she ended up making him watch something he didn't want to watch just because she wanted to watch something different. First, he was having issues sleeping so he was watching a movie to help him. Just because they are married doesn't mean they have to go to bed at the same time every night. She should have respected his choice and just watched what he was watching if she wanted to join him. It wasn't a movie night or date night. It was revealed in this episode that he has a trauma from his past. He saw someone, maybe a friend die when they were the age of the little girl. He would get nightmares of the person when he slept and had trouble sleeping. Once he met the FL he found a short solace and freedom from those nightmares, but they seemed to return or maybe they never left. So that night he was having trouble sleeping and wanted to see a movie to help him. That is why he didn't want to see a horror movie when he was already having nightmares to begin. How would watching a horror movie end up helping him fall asleep? Also, her turning off the AC and causing him to have more trouble sleeping when he already had trouble sleeping at times, that was just greedy of her and she was not thinking of him at all. Maybe she could have just raised it a bit or something instead of turning it off. He even tried to have her comprise once or twice but she would go all crazy and argue so instead he ended up compromising all the time. He knew if they had a kid he would be the one taking care of the child 24/7 and that is why he decided to just give up on their marriage. She refused to compromise in anything. And before anyone says she didn't know because he didn't tell her, he would but she would argue like crazy and she herself said she knew but took it for granted. Omg I don't like to leave long comments but in the other sites all those negative comments were making me feel so bad for him. I know what he did carries consequences to the FL and it wasn't right for him to fake the cheating but when a person refuses to divorce, refuses to compromise on anything and one can't reach anywhere with someone like that what other choice did he have? Talk it out? He tried. She got all scary when she got mad. She still never compromised even after all those times he tried. Anyone else catch the nightmare thing? In the hospital he was holding the little girl's hand and then let go real quick when the mother came in, there was no reason for him to do that. I think it was to show his trauma, that is why he freaked out about the little girl getting into an accident so much more than the parents and go upset with the FL.

I am so not ready to see the end of this drama nor say goodbye to it. Please let there be a Season 3 planned.

I agree with Architectofnonsence. But I also think the way he disappeared from the village was a bit different. If you see he was lifted into the air a bit before he disappeared. So far those who disappeared didn't get lifted from the ground just disappeared into dust and vanished. I think he's was slightly different because he was alive and not dead like those found so far.

That would be an epic reveal and twist.

I think it is because she walked in on a scene that was tied to drugs. She knew the woman had taken drugs and was knocked out because of them. She told the detectives the woman seemed like she had taken drugs. That is why they wanted to silence her at least that is what I think. Plus she saw the guy in the room and they would naturally question him and tie him to the drugs and thus give away the fact that they were selling drugs at the club.

I agree. Why did the woman move in with her under the pretense that she was scared Captain Kang would commit suicide. To me that is a big red flag and how the friend of her husband decided to move back and work with her leaving his job behind. They aimed for her business and house.

No worries. I wonder if Wook will ever know.

Today's episode did a full take on me. When I saw it raw, I thought it felt more like a filler but then again, I stayed up late last night and I was very tired. Then when I saw it a few hours later with subs it was just amazing. So much was revealed and that darn cliffhanger. I was in denial the whole time but still doubting if I was right about the conclusion. So happy I was right and thank goodness for that preview. My heart!

For sure there are a lot of questions. Like does it have to be the same killer? The killer for the two kids was the same and they died in the same place. But then does that mean Alice and her mom were killed at different times? It could explain the reason why Thomas and his friend went to different villages; they might have been killed by different soldiers in the war and at slightly different times.

I cried buckets again and since I watched it raw first and then again with subs I cried twice. Gosh what a cliffhanger.

In episode 12 Wook finally finds him in a bed tied to machines and an IV bag. The monitor is beeping and he has disappeared from the village. Preview of Ep 13 shows he is still alive and Wook has moved him to a hospital. He is yet to wake and the bad guy is planning to visit him in the hospital with bad intentions.
