Ever watch Mad Max

I enjoy Weir's work and I enjoyed the previous Bangkok breaking. I was expecting this to be a sequel with a new story, but instead I got Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome comes to Thailand. It was hard to follow the plot and the reasoning why the chain of events were started in the first place, as if there were deleted scenes.

Wow

By Hollywood standards Weir Sukollawat Kanarot should get an oscar for this one because wow! I had to watch this 3 times to fully absorb it, after finding it which wasn't easy. Seeing Weir, who's as straight as they come play gay, traumatized by death and a monk shows his depth and range as an actor. I didn't watch this as a regular viewer or fan I watched it with a director's eye. I would cast him in anything. The camera were was good too. Clearly Weir has integrity and dignity by refusing to do any nudity. I'd also read that they used "hand talent " for his character and that Weir found it harder to play a monk than to play gay which I found interesting. The bai sri were lovely and the work that goes into making one amazing. This story was both interesting yet sad.

Hate bad guys winning

Hated it, the ending was crap. I don't care that it was 40 episodes. What I hated was the ML gave into letting the bad girls win at destroying his happiness and then rewarded them for it. Lalit and So murder the FL brother and let ML take the blame just to ruin his marriage, FL should've turned evidence to the cops just to get Lalit to confess rather than see ML go to prison. Then his friend Sao kills his unborn child and after he finds all this out he marries Lalit anyway all the while knowing the FL would never deliberately run into a moving vehicle to cause miscarriage and then be depressed and miserable afterwards, He swore he'd never divorce her and then does because of a lie she tells him to get rid of him, clearly ML didn't love FL enough to fight for their love and grieve their child.it's like they forgot their bond of friendship from youth. Lalit needed to die a more lonely and painful death for her bad deeds she was still trying to kill the FL and the ML was ok with it so he married her. Lalit dying still wasn't even sorry to the FL as she clearly states, karma much you pysho. The ML doesn't know real love and everytime he tried to redeem he'd screw it up and never did learn. The last episode needed more apology from ML reconciliation love remarriage and epilogue, should've been 41 or 42 episodes to make up the hell in between.

Thailand's Bruce Willis

Ok so I've been watching a few of Weir's lakorns and this guy is like the Bruce Willis of Thailand, total badass at action and moves and his characters aren't always the nicest to the FLs but whatever. I'm in the middle of episode 7 on this one and omg it's like a 180 to see him in a more comedic role and singing but what really cracks me up is he's kinda getting his butt kicked this time by the FL and when he makes the dejected sad face it's so pitiful you feel sad for him but laughing but also like "come on man" . Watching this after his action roles I sometimes say "dude, stop the comedy, put down the microphone round house kick the bad guy, kiss the girl, and lets go." But in this case if he could dump those annoying boy crazy twins, who call his mom mommy, in the lake that'll do. Going to continue this one.

Wrong synopsis?

So there's no way this takes place 2 yrs after or anything to do with the Vietnam war which was 50 yrs ago. Mik's character would be elderly 72 yes old. It seems to do more with drug traffickers and an embroidered piece of cloth. It takes place in 2022. Going by current synopsis made this very confusing. In the 1st episode one character was born in 1998 so unless there's time travel in here I don't see how they could be searching for Vietnam soldiers, who would've died from old age. My point is who ever writes these descriptions needs to get the information correct.

Nice movie no suicide

Love Weir's acting as usual. I was 1:45 through this film when I read the reviews here and...... Look up the word suicide before revealing it in spoiler review. Nobody commits suicide in this movie. 1 accidental death and 2 people jumping in the water is not suicide, dead people don't swim with their arms and legs kicking back to the surface nor do they ever even talk of doing so. I would have liked more epilogue but then I always do with a good movie or these lakorns. This a short review but they want 500 characters in length so blah blah blah yadda yadda yadda.
