ML’s numerous attempts to talk & in different ways with his mum (like cook for his mum) to make her understand her unnatural & unhealthy way she’s controlled his life is extremely sad & exhausting . When he finally decided to stand up against his parents, especially his mum, his life took a sharp turn, upending his plan after so much effort & trauma throughout his growing years. ML is 17 years old, barely 18 when stuff happened. He may not be as mature as others as they live a more well rounded lives but he could also be feeling helpless, aimless while still trying to help., hence ending in the predicament he’s in on epi 18.

You can try the Imperial Coroner, a period drama. My first WZQ's drama and he impressed me from thereon. There's going to be a sequel to Imperial Coroner.

I also share the same thought before the episodes dropped today. Only way to wrap up is for the Wen family to hand over some proof that ML is a spy in the Pei's fraction and not Pei's adopted son truly.

His medical condition was stablised, ie not deteriorating, critical at the moment but toxins still in his body. The imperial physician said it was difficult to remove the toxins because he was poisoned long ago, thus, difficult to assess what would happen, ie get better or may be worst in the future. He's advised to rest and recuperate while imperial physician would continue to treat him.

I'm so glad the 2 headed snake, He Wenshen got reported, demoted and punished. What a bitter narrowminded brat! FL didn't shame him when rejecting his marriage proposal. He could see it was secretly arranged by FL's dad without consulting her and yet he was so evil to set her up. He could simply not help her if he's still sore over the matter. Not worthy of being a magistrate or judiciary officer because he has no integrity and his judgement can be easily impaired.

Can't believe ML and FL considered hard whether to accept Zhuang Shi Yang's proposal of getting ML to admit to be the only adopted son (when it was known ML in reality was a spy in Pei's fraction for the court, hence wouldn't be charged) in exchange for the antidote for ML's illness. Come on, ZSY would never give the antidote even if there had been one as his many crimes would be buried along ML's death.

I also think is an undercover job as a teacher because he narrated that Yu Jeong is working hard to be a NIS agent and "the thought that we could be colleagues ... argh! save me please". But he was broadcasted as an ex-NIS agent accused of murdering his superior and a wanted fugitive, although his crime was cleared but his NIS status was disclosed, not sure how he can undertake future undercover work. Anyway, is a comedic/crime light-hearted drama.

Director Kim was on his way to meet SKJ to confess everything when he was killed by Chairlady's henchman, the Principal. SKJ was knocked unconscious when he saw the dead Director and then framed for his murder. However, SKJ was cleared of the murder as Director Kim's phone recorded his conversation and fight with the Principal while being killed.

Dad did look for the gold and found it. But it seemed he had brought them home for safekeeping, and had yet got the chance to report them in before he was killed (exact reason why dad brought them home was not specifically addressed in drama). May be he had a hunch that someone inside the NIS was in cahoots with the evil school chairlady, thus he did not immediately report the find. Also, ML remembered his dad said to him that he'll leave the North star for ML to find, which was where the gold was buried at home. (not exactly sure why the dad said this to young ML, maybe dad got a feeling he himself might be in danger).

Yep. Too reckless the way she went about it. Could have backfired & implicated his entire family members . Under their agreement, besides arresting all the villains, his family safety & well-being is number one.

With parents like the ML and FL, Ah Zhi will definitely become a great strategist if ep 22 is any indication. Yes, more work, more strategising for the couple. Thought it was really tiring to live during their times when watched Blossom which I loved, but this is even more exhausting, more tragedy in store, but still a great cdrama.

This is a not serious but comical crime drama that is very well acted. It is not easy to act funny and yet lovable that fits the overall scene.

Per ML's account to FL, his wife died about a year after marriage, after birth of their daughter.

See your point. She's quick to judge on ML sometimes & yet tolerate her evil family far better. However, she did not order the burning of ML's house. She was shocked when she heard about it, hence she ran to his house to check. Further, it was a small fire but ML was the one who purposely spread the fire to burn more extensively so that he would have the excuse to stay in the Zhuang's residence temporary.

Try her drama, Always Have, Always Will, longer episodes. Is a youth drama.

Very glad that Luo Zheng has a very different role here from his previous typical rich cold CEO roles. which didn't provide him with any opportunities for growth or showcase his acting skills. Hope this brings him better roles in future. Chen Fang Tong's acting career seems to progress very slowly, doing short epi dramas. I rather like her in Always Have, Always Will. Hope better things for her in future.
