The plot is not that complicated so the writers resort to things like omitting stuff and unreliable narrators.

It can turn two ways. The good way would be Uk realizing she's Naksu before things get out of control. The bad way, Yeong's memories speed the whole soul kicking out of the body process and she collapses. Either way it's for the best of the plot development bc mf Yul and Master Lee wouldn't tell a thing and just let Yeong die.
