I had a hard time with the first 6 eps. Idk why. Maybe my mood was distracted. So I paused and watched something else. Then I went back to it and fell in love. Binged and finished it. Gosh it was so beautiful. The OST and the lovely green flag the ML lead with every step of the way. It’s definitely a re-watch with my hubby. I wish it was on Viki!

I find it odd that Zhang Bin never did a thorough background check on Chen Yi and knew who his “sister” was in all these years?

I’m confused. If she was all alone in Li Mountain. How did someone send the decree for her to come down and get married?

Did the two sleep together at beginning of ep 12?
FL was wearing her outfit in his bed and they were talking then suddenly a couple of scenes later she’s getting up out of bed looking for him and she was wearing his shirt with no pants.

Goodness I almost gave up on this drama until I got to ep 32. That whole semi love triangle and the jealous angst and the final blowup had me sweating and my chest actually ached for the ML!!! When he got her divorce letter, omg….i felt the pain!!!
Are there any other good cdramas that have a similar tropey jealousy plot line mixed in like this? I love a good trope when it’s done well.

I’m only on Ep4 but pls tell me that the evil Cao Yan guy dies a horrible death!!!

Is it really his own voice. I tried listening to him in interviews and his real voice isn’t as deep.

Is there a movement to up the rating for this drama because I feel like the numbers are not actually matching up. I haven’t started yet but is it really better ratings than Legend of Female General which has 10K ratings compared to this cdrama that has about 4K.
