I enjoyed this action packed series a lot!!!! I feel like it's been a long time since I watched an action genre series or drama, so thats probably one of the reasons I enjoyed this a lot. The storyline was honestly so predictable especially since I've watched many korean action, gangsters movies. despite that, I still enjoyed this a lot as I want to know the process, if that makes sense. And the action scenes were great!! the fact that I did not skip the action scenes or speed it up and focused throughout the period just shows how deeply immersed I am in those scenes. han so hee did a freakin great job, honestly all actors did. I love it. and the thing i love the most is i dont have to ask for season 2 just like most of netflix original korean series :')

Watching this ongoing is really the right choice for me, cause I could imagine how bored i would be if i were to binge it. It honestly starts quite good, prolly because I was curious of the mystery. this is a review from someone who haven't watch the other reply series yet, so there will be no comparison. i enjoyed this drama a lot! more than i expected. a very light slice of life, very fun and bright i like it. it's really perfect to watch when you have lots of your mind cause it's very light. as a fangirl myself, there is some degree that was relatable to me, which makes the drama even better. it really gives that nostalgic vibes, retro which lives up to its title. i also enjoyed their friendship a lot. the romance was um very predictable but still I'm liking it haha.

Another drama that started good but went downhill at the end. It first started really intriguing, the mystery, the high class, the little bit of makjang, how the story will unfold, how the female lead will find out the truth and solve it. It really draws me in. Although some parts were predictable it is still interesting to watch. But starting from about the second half, it just become so slow and boring. I can't help but to skip some scenes even though I'm not the type of person to skip things. and the worst is the ending and all the solutions basically. like, i was looking forward on how the FL will solve it, but meh, so many plot holes and so boring ;')

super super super superrr CUTE!!! i love it so muchhhh. the animations are cute the story line is cute and light and most importantly the couple is the cutest with the best chemistryyy! this is light drama yet i kept on wanting to know what will happen next, waiting for new episodes each week is very exciting. apart from romance, it is a slice of life drama. so it's so realistic, just a normal working woman meeting a normal man with a normal life. it shows some up and downs, meeting new people, saying goodbye to people etc. i love it so much. and most importantly, the cells are cutee and relatable. it makes me curious about my cells haha love it. hope to see s2 soon

this started really really really good!! at first I love it so muchhh, I really love disaster survival kind of genre and this one, plane crash and deserted island is so unique to me (as there is no other drama with the same setup). And since there is 2 timeline, I even find the present timeline annoying cause I only want to watch them surviving. Ugh I love itt!! oh and btw I thought it will be some serious heavy dark drama but it's not. It has lots of funny parts in it especially the two main characters, seo joon oh and bong hee. but sadly it last up till the 11th or 12th episodes :( after that it went downhill. there is switch of genre, which i don't mind honestly. but the could have done better really. and the most disappointing one is the ending. like after all those hardships they end it just like that? especially for choi tae ho. ughh this drama really had its potential but since I love more than half of the drama, i give it a not too low rating.

this drama started off really good, it was intriguing and full of things that I was excited to see how it unfolds. the combination of sageuk and fantasy (devil, god) for me was really good, cause it's new to me and so i look forward for every next episodes. but sadly that only stays for up until the first half. the second half it went downfall, it is full of repetitions andI can't even remember what happened for those episodes cause nothing was actually happening except for 1 or 2. and most unfortunate is the ending, idky the writer rushed every single thing to be concluded in ep16. the ending was meh except for the couple of course. like, after all those intriguing, we need to seal the demon forever, sacred vessel, it only ends like that? and of course, prince joohyang's story also doesn't end (well).

a very very veryy good slice of life!! if you're into slice of life, or want to start watching one this is a really good one. it's of course, about life of police officers. each cases are very very good and all characters for me are very likeable with their own background story that will give you mixed of emotions. you'll laugh, you'll get mad and you'll cry. this drama also have lots of heavy issues as in the our society issues. from corrupt officers to public sentiment for certain cases. these really just give this drama more realistic view. acting are of course beyond amazing and i love the osts too. the only reason it doesn't get that high rating from me is probably because i lose interest for awhile in the middle and i had to put in on hold, maybe because i'm not in the mood for slice on life. but thats on me. the drama itself is amazing!

honestly I came here for lee je hoon. and he did well of course. but i think it's a bit wasted :((( but anyways, the storyline was just so-so, just like any cliche romance dramas. there wasn't anything that super caught my attention. well they tried to make, 'a disable person wearing unusual supporting device' a unique thing for the drama, but i guess it failed. i dont find it unique in terms of it in the storyline. but i do love the story bout the airports, how staff work in there, passengers issues and stuff. although i do think it could be better. the osts were amazingg i love it a lot. i watch it in faster speed, but everytime an ost played, i change the speed to normal again to listen to it :))

down to the last season. honestly, I'm so tired with penthouse already, I watched this because I wanted to know how it ended. The beginning was okay, hooked me, was interesting. I was thinking aahh maybe because I couldn't really remember the past seasons, I might be watching this season with a fresh mind. but i guess not :') somewhere in episode 6, i'm getting tired of it. the whole nonsense, I'm just not up for it anymore. It was really good in season 1 cause it was kinda refreshing to watch makjang that I've probably only watch 1 drama and the makjang-ness is not as high as penthouse. but now that it's the 3rd season, it's so tiringgg, i lost interest with everything. all I want is for it to end. but I do love and interested with the character development of some btw. but the ending, the last episode, episode 14?? just wow. really just overturn everything, which is why the rating I gave wasn't too low. the last episode doesn't feel like penthouse, it was somehow very calm and there are few touching stories. I can't believe I was crying :((( there were no shouting and screaming, just how their lives slowly going back to normal. and bcs of the last episode i feel like i was emotionally attached to it :'))

The storyline is good, I really love the beginning of the drama it was so thrilling and it makes me so intrigue especially the the first case thats just damn, having that timerI at the bottom really just heightened the thrill-ness. The cases are all good, it shows the team smart brain but there are still time that their actions were questionable but it was okay, i was dumb to think about that anyways. I was really excited and have high expectation for the series ever since the teaser dropped. no, probably ever since we got the title name. as I only watch kdrama, not american series anything, this is of course very unique and refreshing. The whole playing games while betting your life was just damn, couldn't help but to be intrigue and watch it right away. The storyline and the sets, the games were amazing. even though there are few episodes that were slow, because I want moree games, I feel like the stories are important for me to understand their characters. It was 'bloody' amazing, and very thrilling. It reminds me of sweet home sometimes, the editing probably. Acting was of course greattt I mean, we expected that. Anyways I love and enjoy it a lot. and we need season 2, i wasn't satisfied with the ending.
