Don't know these actors and actresses.

Having had a feline companion, I was worried each time Hong Jo tried new food and drinks that were bad for cats, such as spicy food topokki, milk, coffee and alcohol.

I was captivated from the beginning to end, so personally don't understand why there were reviews saying it was boring :P Might be the relatability. The cuteness of the cat helps. It also covers issues that rescue centers goes through, from old cats are unwanted, left over cats get euthanized and hard to detect if pets are being abused or not. Living in our world, it is natural that we all lead very busy lives that even with the best intentions we would have days or weeks where we would be too busy to care and give the attention to loved ones, much less to pets. The growth of the characters were pleasant to watch. How friends and loved ones drift apart and how they bond together becoming stronger. Mostly thanks to the cat.

Really enjoyed this series! Cute, fun and funny. Definitely gets sad, good dozen of tissues were used at least towards the end. Cried for the sad story moments. Cried when the characters cried. Cried even when the characters didn't cry. Cried because it reminds me of my fur baby that passed away who was like Hong Jo, who followed me around and was just happy to be in my presence.

The ache of knowing and not knowing your time is limited with a loved one is stressful to the point where you don't even know which one is more cruel. To know or not to know when your time together will end permanently.

Watch movie before the series

This movie technically came out before the series, please watch this first if you can.

The game designs, characters, costumes and hair are all impressively beautiful.
The main couple are warm and natural, Cao Guang/Zhen Shui did a good job at being the "villain". As much as I like Li Xian, his character is too small to stand out, even though he's the hot headed friend of Xiao Nai.
The love story was very rushed. In-game they barely interacted, unless it is all off screen. They met twice and he embraces her and tells her about everything he's working on. Yet again, if there were more time they spent together the audience doesn't really know... and 3rd time they kiss. WHOA! Down boy! Calm down! Even if it's hot and dreamy.

COMPARING the movie to the series.
Glad they got Ryan Zheng to be Zhen Shui, who was great at being the villain. Zhen Shao Xiang's over all story was really good.
Cao Guang becoming his own character was also amazing, "evil" in his own way. His story is also cute.
KO in both movie and story are too different and both are good. Series version of KO does feel like he's more cool, but so awkward.
Weiwei and Xiao Nai movie version takes the cake. If these actor and actress were the series, it would have been perfect. I remember watching the series and thinking, story's good but the actress looks too angular. The couple is cold and distant. Although the series gave more background story and build their relationship. Most people like Yang Yang, but maybe he didn't really click Zheng Shuang and vice versa.
Obviously, the series had more time to develop the characters, story and bonding. Watching the movie after the series might be more satisfying and might not feel like Xiao Nai is going too fast with Wei wei.

Feels like there are spoilers, but I try not to spoil at the same time. Read at your own risk.

Once you start, in less than a minute BAM! HELLO! They really made their point straight strong from the beginning hahaha

Love the wolf braids (aka ML), wish he kept it through the whole series. Love that he's always framed as a player, acts like a player but is truly loyal and dedicated to one person only. He follows his heart and is persistent to a bad fault.... he's a total stalker, but if you like the person and/or if you're the main character, apparently it makes it okay.

Ling Long actress did a great job with the duo personality. Refreshing and fun. I believe everyone has a soft, respectful and kind side, as well as a rough, honest and unapologetically judgy side. Doesn't make anyone a bad person, it just means we have depth and reasons of why we are the way we are. Makes us more interesting as individuals.

You Rou's growth and change as a character was the best. From a spoiled, hot headed, entitled brat to learning how to be humble and independent. Too bad she was left behind for the last parts of the story.

Mi Sa..... Good job :D Who ever wrote this character, plus the acting. Amazing job! Ling Long and Mi Sa's character and the actor/actress are top notch! Would be tough to say who wins the cake, so they both have to share it :)

Took me a few times to get through the first 2 episodes. It made me a little too anxious, so I had to take a couple a breathers. By the third episode, I was sucked into the story. Was half way through, when a friend told me it's based off a manhwa, checked it out and realized it was saved under to read section of my account :) This series was enjoyable from beginning to the end. Emotional roller coaster! Scary, exciting, sad, frustration, satisfaction, suspicion, hope, and etc.

Characters were wonderfully developed and was a joy to watch ALL of them grow as a person. Not just the main cast.

Like the art style. Design and animation of the monsters are AMAZING!!!

Love the music! It is unique and matches the moments really well.

Love that it shows all the different types of issues we all go through in life. How we all fight our problems each day. No matter how we had lived our lives, how others see us, who we truly are, in the end what will we choose to do. Will we be consumed and give up, or will we continuously fight to do the right thing.

Spoiler Rants

First music video curse where the school is in danger, students are losing their souls and became mindless bodies around the campus after listening to the video of Chen Ze Xuan playing on the cursed piano. If the video goes viral, the world would be in trouble. Story Logic Flaw! How will the video go viral? Who is going to like and share the video, if the person watching and listening became a MINDLESS zombie!

Main characters are always portrayed as generous, sincere and perfect. Friendships in this show is very shallow. They keep talking about brotherhood and sisterhood, but they are all selfish and only call their friends when they are in need. At least Meng Po tries to save her one and only friend. Zhong Kui only calls on others when he needs information and help. If they don't have anything that will help with his situation he tells them off, " disappear", "why are you still here?" and such. Zhong Kui also takes Oouyang Kai as a disciple/ student, but teaches him NOTHING. Oouyang Kai is just an errand boy who does everything Zhong Kui tells him to do.

Meng Po is all in all nice and sincere character. She sacrifices herself for others, she's an outstanding mixologist and basically a typical damsel in distress no matter how you look at it. Overall, she is a bland and boring stereotypical character, who is only interesting because of the situation and events that occurred in her past.

Lu bo ya..., got this creepy smile and awkwardness going on that keeps you guessing whether he is good or bad. In hind sight, I would say bad acting, because if he "acted" good and sincere, it would make his character more believable as a nice, warm and perfect person. It would give the later story a better punch. Unless that was the actor's good and sincere acting, then I'm disappointed. Either way, it might not be the actor's fault and more what the production/director wanted. Lu bo ya shines and becomes more lovable as a character after his change later in the series.

Oouyang Kai is naive, because he is young and carefree. He's mostly useful to the other characters, because he has money, a car and desperate for friends. He's loyal, faithful to a flaw, caring not just to the girl he loves, but to his friends as well. He's the goofball, always with smile, always glad to see his friends. He has his own little flaws, plus no supernatural powers or knowledge. He's nobody special, just a normal "boring" human being. He is the only likable and sincere character to root for and care about.

En Xi is a good friend, who could not help herself fall into a love triangle. She has a difficult life from the beginning. From death of father, addicted mother, classmates and faculty discrimination, being controlled by her crush to do bad deeds, so on and so forth. Being torn between her best friend, doing the right thing and staying on the good side of someone she loves. Did she ever have a chance? Poor girl! It is what makes her perfect to be the key/guide. I'm glad that Oouyang Kai was always there for her, but at the same time... she just never gets a break.

I loved it!

If there were flaws, and I know there are plenty of flaws to this series... I did not notice them because that's how the story successfully distracted me from it. Usually, I get irritated with inaccuracies or get bothered by some other minor things in Asian shows that gets minus points. What ever magic this Korean Drama had, I fell in love with this story.

The music was great, it did not feel like they were over used. Enjoyed it each time it came up to make the scene impressionable.

The actors and actresses were amazing, even the side characters and dislikable ones as well. At first I did not like Go Kyung Pyo, maybe it was his face. Maybe he was just too nice to be realistic. The actor really pulled through with his acting talents, which impressed me and I change my mind. Thank you, sir for proving me wrong to judge you that way.

The story... oufff the story is unique and does not suffer from Cinderella syndrome (THANK GOD)! It is serious, which makes the story amazing. It is comedic, which makes the story not too overwhelmingly heavy. It is CUTE! many moments where I wanted to hug the characters, and I don't mean the main characters or because they are good looking/hot. This story will pull at the heart strings. Used quite a few tissues, but that's just me being an overly sensitive baby :)

Give this series a chance and enjoy.

Rich people need psychological help! This series contain strong people who are true to who they are and story sending a good moral message and hope to the audience. For normal everyday people, this is how you change honest and sincere people into liars and cheaters.

The "romantic" sneezing song sounds very whiney and annoying. Had to mute it or skip the the nice romantic parts. Shame.

Love the 2 main female leads: Megan Lai and Tia Lee. Female villain Vivian, goes through about 3 moments where it seems as though she would have a change of heart and do the right thing. Each time she does not do the right thing, so making her break through at the end was very weak and forced. It's a shame that all the leads were just pretty to look at but not much brains and talents. The only female who showed some wit and brains, Ting Ai used it for evil deeds.

Lazy

If you're going to produce a series about psychology, do some basic research. Ink Blot test is to see what the patient is projecting from the unconscious mind. There are no "mom" or "dad" cards. Americans are not perfect, but they at least get some basics down. Chinese Entertainment Industry need to do more homework. Make the world proud and want to watch Chinese films, because they can teach and convey a beautiful story. Make it so we can study it, analyze it and scrutinize it! So people can also defend it as well. Don't sacrifice accuracy for your story that may or may not be intriguing. If we wanted to watch a show with no logic, there are plenty of nonsense Chinese love stories to watch that are also cringe-y and embarrassing.

Amateur

Either Hong Kong culture or the director knows nothing about psychology and S&M.
Annie, the Psychologist would not stop talking about how "in psychology" this and "in psychology" that, trying too hard to prove that she is a psychologist. Psychologists usually have too many people picking their brain that they do not want to bring work to their personal lives, even if they do analyze and talk about their field, they do not put "in psychology" every time they open their mouths.
S&M culture is all about consent and respect! There were absolutely NO Consent, which makes the characters and audience more fearful and causes more misunderstanding.
Enjoyed and admired how Sunny was fluent in English, not many actors/actresses speak like a native. Liked that the girls are buddies and take care of each other, unlike many series where the only other main female lead are always rivals of love. Strong independent women for the win! Did not watch long enough to detect Cinderella syndrome with this series, so good job :) The interviews at the end was fun to watch as well.
