Love in the Moonlight review (what I thought about it)

One of the best Kdramas I've ever watched, I loved the plot twist & We can learn about Korean history in sorts of ways. I love the Moonlight.
The characters had a bond I felt that kept the drama together. I'm sure a lot of people felt like they were in the drama in a sort of way. The director did very well and the bond kim yoo-jung and park bo-gum had was amazing like a want a guy like that XD
I hope foreigners and other people who love romance and historical dramas would enjoy this. I usually am picky with my dramas because it usually feels boring to me, so I recommend this drama as it's my top picks.
romance in the story and I've always been wanting a season2 ;-;...
If its a recommended drama (from me) I would cry.. I CRIED A LOT.
I hope for more park bogum and kim Yoo-jung <3 I ship a lot
Thank you.

Episode 1 - 10 review

So when I watched the trailer I was thrilled and excited.
Even watching episode 1.. the acting and the story developed and was great. Seeing the characters emotions but as you get to episode 10.. I kind of thought that Han ji-peong should be with seo dal-mi. He helped her a long the way and tried comforting her with explanation. After that scene... I looked at seo dal-mi and nam do-san.. I didn't see the bond anymore.
Now I could see why people stan Han Ji-peong and Seo Dal-mi together 'cause I can see the emotional bond in their eyes, but when I see Seo Dal-mi and Nam Do-san.. All I see is crying, crying, teamwork and then romance. I don't see their bond no matter how much the producer and director wants us to see.
If I was Seo Dal-mi, yes I would cry in disbelief but I would see why Han Ji-peong did it, but instead in the drama she goes to Nam Do-san for comfort...
I could see Nam Do-san and Seo Dal-mi's bond slowly dissipating...
I'll write an update once I complete the drama
(please message/DM or reply to me if you have any disagreements and agreements thank you)
As well please know this is my opinion :>

Gonna brief this hut I HATE THIS DRAMAA

Okay, so meteor garden is a sequel to the 'Hani Yori Dango' which there were other dramas such as 'Boys Over Flower Korean, 'Meteor Garden Taiwan' and etc.

At first, it was fine in the beginning until it was just chaotic-The storyline was all over the place, leading to nowhere.
The lead couple always get in a fight, then back together, get in a fight, get back together like literally what happens in the next few episodes-
I sometimes skip them just for the supporting character couple. (love them so cute)
As well shanchai.... Ughhhh her voice is so annoying Idk why but it makes me mad. Not only the character but the ACTRESS is probably one of the only actresses that I despise. Practically I stopped watching Cdrama because of the VOICE OVER like WTF let them have their own voice it's ridiculous!!
At this point the main lead couple's cute sweet moments are meaningless... It just looks forced.
I highly don't recommend this drama.
The only exception I can make is:
- the second lead couple
Way better than the first lead couple. Their storyline was clear and made so much sense. I felt the emotion and character development between both characters. When they had their kiss scene I actually felt their love for each other.
- the music/ost
First, most of the music I grew up with as a kid since some of them are old famous songs.
Though the story was chaotic and made no sense, I only gave it stars for the original storyline. ALL THE OTHER SEQUELS except boys over the flower(don't cancel me, their relationship was toxic tbh) and this drama, were really good and stuck to the storyline and everything was good compared to the other two I mentioned.

Cute but goes downhill...

Okay so first,
I love watching cdrama having the concept of university-related. So that's why I wanted to watch this series.
It also helps my Chinese better.
I love the character development especially when you see them getting to like each other.
My favourite part of the whole drama is the roommates friendship, reminds me of my friends and I got emotional when they were always there for. Yuan qian.
The music is very calming and fits the concept of the drama.
Okay now about the cons...
This drama is practically similar to all Chinese dramas... A cold-hearted talented man and a bubbly cute short girl. Its getting a bit boring for me tbh but I'm fine with it since I like kind of like dramas like this. BUT compared to other dramas, at least their bond and character development get stronger.
Okay straight to the point what I'm trying to say is...
Their relationship is toxic as soon as they for together.
Okay LIFE LESSON: If a man forces himself on you that is considered harassment/ sexual assault. It's not cute and not on.
When I saw the kiss, at first I'm like is this supposed to be cute? Cause it just looked... Wrong in all ways.
Okay, the female protagonist is cute but the male protagonist...
Don't get me wrong!! I love Aaron Deng, watched him on idol producer. Though his character is just no... At first, I liked his character because you can see him slowly grow interested in yuan qian. But as soon as he gets together with yuan qian... Oh boy! He practically controls her! When she asked for his permission I was like something not right. As well he keeps forcing her to PDA even when she tells him to keep it private. I get he was confused but he should be understanding and respect her decisions.
He literally makes yuan qian AVOID her childhood best friend just because of his own selfish reasons if he owns her. He's like No touching, no hugging, no talking, no nothing because her childhood friend is a BOY. He always invades her personal space, like when she was calling song siyi with earphones, she signaled him 'no' because she was talking to siyi privately but he just took the earphone to hear their conversation.
Like that's not cool, it's NOT cute just creeper as hell.
As well when he told the hotel service person to tell yuan qian there was only one room left that's messed up ... Cause she seemed very uncomfortable that she kept persisting for a room for herself which is COMPLETELY FINE! But no, she was uncomfortable because things were gonna happen in that room and guess what IY HAPPENED, I bet she WASNT SURPRISED.
Qin shen acts very childish, very manipulating. Usually, its the girl that is mad at the guy but somehow every time yuan qian does something without his "CONSENT'' he would get pissed?
Okay, I recommend you watch ep 1-15 and TRY TO AVOID EVERYTHING AFTER THAT, it progressively gets worse. I feel so bad for yuan qian kinda wanna just help her.

One of my favourite kdramas but very under rated

This drama is so underrated ?
literally, the storyline, character development even the villain made me cry.
I don't think the king was actually evil, to be honest, but someone that had mental problems.
Just all tears to be honest haha.
I wished they could've had a mini-series of their life onwards.
I love this drama, it is one of the only dramas I was into and I watched all the episodes. Definitely recommend still can't believe this is not a popular drama.
The first lead couple though is mostly crying and emotional stuff ?I still felt their love for each other especially when they first meet, you can feel their connection and character development throughout the series.
My favourite scene of the whole drama was near the end. 1. The king's dream and 2. When they reunite.
I was crying so much when I see his dream fades to reality. He really loved the queen but because of fate, she wasn't supposed to be queen. When they reunite, all you can just so is cry since they became old and wouldn't have a lot of time together, making them young again as in how they looked the whole series really brought tears to me, it felt like a few minutes when they were separated when it was like 30+ years.
The music goes really well the drama, when you hear it in a specific scene you either get goosebumps, get emotional or feel the tension.
OKAY but park minyoung crying for like all episodes mad respect to her LIKE HOW CAN YOU CRY THAT MUCH, same vibe as hwarangs girl character ?

Finished this kdrama and definitely recommend!!!!!!

The character development... Just the way everything felt so realistic and so unique is just everything!! Honestly every time Netflix realised a new episode I couldn't wait to wait and scream whenever I had to wait s few days.
The ending was satisfying but I wish to see a season two to see their lives with two kids XD
I cried because I could relate to the story of Du-sik and Mrs Gam-ri's son when he cried around her funeral.
Honestly, this is one of the best k-dramas I've ever watched.

At first it didn't look as good because hyejin had that bratty attitude people didn't like but around the end of the series her character changed a sweet but yet stubborn character which I liked.
I was so curious of Du-sik's life and what happened to him as he was secretive and introverted than he looked.
He.... Really reminds me of myself, also keeping it in and not telling people what I go through everyday that's why whenever the scene of du-sik cries or struggles; I cry on the screen feeling so related to him.
Kim seonho did well on this character and how his character opened up to someone he can trust and love.

I LOVEEEEE the actors and actresses in this k-drama, not only you see the story of the main characters.... But you get each of the characters story and how they get to resolve the problem they faced.
I love the town people, because they were like one happy family. Always there for each other everyday and all the time.
Always sharing their emotions to one another

I loved miseon and euncheols relationship!!! Wish to see a literal drama of them XD
I definitely recommend this K-drama, it's realistic, relatable, down to earth and just sweet.
