I guess it's debateable on what a person can manage to do in one night but he didn't bury Bang Juseon's body as we see in ep 1 and he also didn't bury Yuyeon in the walls the same night he did later the same year when Dongsik left for the army. As for the evidence we know that it was messed around with, Dongsik was the immediate prime suspect and Han Kihwan being involved made sure the case was closed as quick as possible.

I believe the munju police not exactly going by the book was a whole thing and even Dongsik himself criticized them on how they operated, they pretty much did what they wanted and the small town setting helped out with that so I think it was done purposely.

Juwon was blinded by his guilt and emotions, sprinkle some arrogance to that and that's why he was so insistent on Dongsik being the killer. Dongsik was the only prime suspect 20 years ago and with that pretty much the only lead he had, he was also acting incredibly suspicious in Juwons eyes so I wouldn't say he was suspecting him for no reason.

The show doesn't go too deep into Jinmooks character which was done intentionally by the writer but we still kinda get what his motives were. His mother and wife both were prostitutes and they both left him (or at least his wife did I'm actually not sure about his mother but anyways he didn't view them in a good light) and people pointing their fingers at him was triggering him. Juseon died because she provoked him and was pointing her finger at Jinmook (she also was wearing heels and a mini skirt which he might have viewed as slutty too and might or might not have added to what lead him to kill her as there was a shot of him looking at her legs) and he killed Jaeyi's mom because she was rumored to be a prostitute he literally mentions it during the flashback of him killing her.

I agree that for a lot of people the revelation of the true killers might not have been shocking or even predictable but imo that's not what the show is about anyways and I feel like they weren't even trying to be subtle about who the bad guys were as it was pretty clear (except I'd say Jinmook) even Jeongje was fishy from early on and that's because they wanted him to be, what was amazing to me were the revelations how exactly each character was involved and the explanations as to why the characters acted the way they did, for example Dongsik placing Minjungs fingers at the end of ep 2, that's what blew me away and why I think the writing is absolutely brilliant.

In episode 4 we get a little flashback of young Jaeyi where people talk about her mother saying she "ran away from home" in the same episode Juwon finds out that the blood they found on one of the knives in her shop was from a missing person and that that person is Jaeyi's mom . To put it simple it's because they had proof for who the real killers were but it's also because Juwon came to know and trust Dongsik over the course of the show and the reason he was so insistent on him being the killer was mostly due to being driven by his emotions.

Idk I thought Dusik was acting a little childish this episode, I can definitely still feel the bromance vibes from Sunghyuns side but not as much from Dusik. I need the bromance to remain though, love them together.

Finally more screentime for Lee Sangyi, they'll hopefully keep up with that. Not looking forward to the love triangle tho...

Actually Dongsiks "creepy overacting" (which it wasn't) at the start makes absolute sense you'll realize it even more so once you rewatch the show knowing what he knows, it definitely wasn't just added for more suspense but is in line with what the character went through and is feeling.

Can't wait for another new work with Shin Hakyun, I became a fan of his after Beyond Evil, such an incredibly amazing actor.

If anything 2022 since it still seems to be in talks if the actors will return.

What kind of comparison are you looking for? Beyond Evil is imo by far a better written show and so are the relationships and characters, they are also very different from each other. I wasn't much of a fan Yohan and Gaon's dynamic but absolutely love the one of our male leads here but I know a lot of people that love both. Anyways the show is about so much more and worthy to watch for many different reason so I encourage you to try it out.

That's fair, to each their own. I thought it was realistic and pretty much in character for Juwon.

He wasn't just feeling sorry for that but he was also sorry for suspecting Dongsik all this time, he basically accused him of murdering his own sister only to find out it was his own father who did it, I would feel incredibly guilty too especially when Dongsik has gone through so much and it's not unusual for people to be ashamed of their parents actions.

In the show it is mentioned how they can't arrest someone for murder without there being a body Dongsik only found Minjungs fingertips but not only that with him placing the fingers outside instead of reporting it he got the whole serial murder investigation started in which his sisters death was involved and this time he tried to make sure it was properly investigated, he needed clear evidence to get Jinmook as it was mentioned too how difficult it is to have someone as a suspect twice if in the first case they didn't have enough proof which might make it look lake he was falsely accused.
*He also already contaminated the crime scene by entereing which would make him look very suspicious especially considering he was the prime suspect 20 years ago.

Wow they really killed off both their female leads and killed off two major female characters by having them commit suicide...that's not it....I'm gonna pretend it ended after episode 15. Anyways Jung Sunah was the most entertaining character in this show.

Slow burns are typical for psychological shows and might not suit everyones taste, the show is very detailed and is mostly show don't tell so you gotta pay attention. Personally I didn't feel like it was slow and thought the pacing was just right and they didn't waste any time. I'd definitely suggest you keep going because imo it gets better with each episode and really it's so well written.

I would love if this turned out to be true because the whole time I wanted Yohan to be actually evil but idk seems unlikely.

Sunah is the best character, she really stole the show for me and her scenes with Yohan are just 🔥.

This show is defnitely meant to watch twice, it's really amazing how different the feel is during your second watch and you notice even more details, I can't stop praising this show you can tell how much thought the writer put into it.

Same, the Lee siblings are my favorite characters and are far more interesting to me I also really enjoy Heetae's dad, I love me a good villain he has such great lines.
Honestly I just couldn't get invested in the romance since it all happened too quickly, they didn't even know each other for that long yet are head over heels and ready to risk it all which just seems a bit unrealistic to me.

Officially the FL is Esom/Kang Hana but I'd say the SFL (who is actually the heroine in the source material) is given more importance in the first half while the second half focuses more on the FL. There is no love line (though ngl I did get kinda romantic vibes between SFL and ML at times).
