Last week episode came with a lot of homophobia from strangers and even Jerry's mother. When she brazenly said she accepted her child's sexuality only in secret. When she said she is ashamed to face her neighbours and when she suggested he keep his sexuality plus family secret lol. I was very furious at her and at the society at large. Why should there be so many restrictions against gay people? You would think that in a country where same-sex marriage is legal, that there would be acceptance and zero homophobia but it's not the case π€§π€¦
But still, it is better than the country I live in. Where two guys walking together holding hands on the streets can get lynched to death. Atleast in Taiwan, gay people have the law to protect them.
The fight between Damian and Jerry had me feeling so torn between the two of them. Like who is wrong and who is right? When Jerry was leaving and Jimmy told his dad to go get him, I almost lost it. But I still held it in, when I saw the expression on Damian's face, holding back tears, I also held back mine. Up until he finished reading the letter and started crying, omo God have mercy upon us .π
Glad they reconciled cause my heart was already doing me somehow π
Cute, ordinary, uncomplicated. Nothing significant is happening but it's still kind of refreshing in a way. I think I just like the simplicity it came with. The guy playing as Smart is adorable and his eyelids comes together when he smiles just like Jimin.π
Two things tho, number 1 - I found it weird that Peach was asking Smart who the song was for. Like dude come on, who did he eat, play and grow up with? You guys literally grew up together, did the "neighbor" thing not ring a bell? Or was he pretending not to know?
Secondly, what was that ending? It didn't even feel like an open ending, did they figure out they have feelings for each other? The show literally just ended π€¦
Overall, I don't regret watching this. It's a lot better than Coffee Melody so yeah it is not that bad.
PS : Why is it that the Thai BLS with potential are always the ones that are short? Tsk tsk....
And OMG you just reminded me of the darkest crime series I've seen. I loved King Of Pigs so much. That and Through The Darkness still remains my favourite Kdrama of 2022
I can't believe this series ends next week π Why is Taiwanese BLS so shortπ
I don't understand why Thai Bls which should be the shorter ones are long whereas the taiwan and Japanese Bls are always short when they should be longerπ...
OMG I knew it! I fucking knew it! That almost bald guy did what I feared the most. Of all the things you could do, you choose to be a homewrecker??? Millions of single people out there, you choose to take advantage of a married man. And what? They all left him and you are here for him? If you don't geddifok π€ omg what will Jerry do? π Given how rocky their relationship is at the moment, will he be able to trust and believe Damain?
I honestly don't expect him to stop his Channel neither do I expect Damian to close his restaurant. Jerry's channel ID equally as important as his restaurant, I was hoping they'll figure it out, I wasn't expecting that ending π
And omg the homophobia in this episode π€¦ Jerry's mom disappointed me the most, I thought she already accepted them, who knew she was still ashamed of her son's sexuality tsk tsk I can't with herπ€¦
My feelings towards this drama is conflicted. Somehow I understand Minato San and his refusal to date someone as young as Shin and somehow I also understand what it means to love someone so much the way Shin loves him.
Somehow I understand why Shuu Kun doesn't want to date anyone, same way I understand why Asuka still wants to give it a try even when he knows what Shuu Kun thinks about dating.
All in all I can't bring myself to take sides with anyone. But I did shed a tear when Shin thanked Minato San for coming on that trip with him.
I want them to get together but a part of me wants them to not date each other.
It remains one more EP and honestly, I am going to miss this show when it ends.
Based on the comments, not gonna start this. Sounds like another TharnType but without the abuse (99% sex, 1%…
If you pay attention to comments on MDL, then you definitely would miss out on a lot of good shows. I am not saying this one is a good show but I think you should watch and decide for yourself
Is it only me or does it feel like the guy playing P'payu's character speaks like he's reciting lines out of a script? I mean his acting skills still needs a lot of improvement. That being said, what he lacks in acting skills, he makes up for it with his hot looks and well muscled chest so I am definitely not complaining π

Anyways, Ye Huang's father is MADπ
