IT HAD NO PLOT WHATSOEVER

It had good potential in the starting but after 6 episodes they had 0 storyline and only purpose of the rest of the episodes were to show those explicit sex scenes which i feel is the only reason a few ppl like this show.
But i gotta admit Saintzee chemistry is one of the best.
Also maybe its just me but I was absolutely so bored during saifahzon scenes and found myself skipping almost all of it if not forcing myself to watch those for the 'plot'.
I could only watch till episode 8 and then I forwarded directly to episode 12 to watch the actual 'plot' or whatever.
Also those 10 other side couples were so unnecessary and felt like they were only there for fillers.
I have got to say Zee's acting being so good was not something i expected. His breakdown in episode 12 was too good.

Overall its a fresh concept

TW: SUICIDE ATTEMPT IN EP 7. PLEASE LOVE YOURSELF AND SKIP THAT EPISODE IF IT UPSETS YOU.
REVIEW-
Its has a very interesting plot not only in bls but in Kdramas in general and could have easily been 16 episodes long with this plot.
Amazing fantasy-fiction story with good cinematography. I would have preferred this show to be longer instead of hoping for a 2nd season because by the time s2 comes out I am pretty sure the little hype I have left for it will also go down,
But this is not my main complain with the show.
My main problem was, excuse my straight forwardness ,i usually don't mind bad acting I have got to say this Hyun jun's acting was too bland even for a rookie to the point it was unbearable to watch his scenes.
He delivers even deep lines without moving 2 muscles in his face. Nothing against him though I just feel he should stick with singing.
So my ratings for this show significantly lowered as i found my self skipping most of the scenes in the last episode.
Besides I have got to say this, overall the show and editing was ok but in episode 4 the editing and pacing was tooo confusing its like many important scenes have been cut out.

ONE OF THE BEST DRAMAS EVER

The story is so fresh and different than most historical dramas, it was so amusing to see the relationship the brothers shared.
I thoroughly enjoyed this show especially the episodes 5-10 where the crown prince selection was taking place. It was so entertaining to watch each prince's journey.
And the small lgtbq side story and how well they dealt with it was a cherry on top. They handled it so well, the queens supportive words brought tears to my eyes
I loved all the characters, i am glad they didn't make the king to be a cold hearted asshole who doesn't care about his kids. It was so nice seeing how much he adored the queen especially.
My only complain is they should have given the king a few daughters it would have been an interesting side plot!!!
I really think this drama deserves so much more appreciation

One of the best dramas I have watched and trust me I am very picky with the shows I like

I just lovedddd this drama. I was putting this off for so long bc its not my genre and i already know the ending and i hate spoilers it always ruins the watching experience for me.
But i finally decided to watch it yesterday bc i was v bored. And I totally binge watched all 16. episodes.

It was a simple story but the way it unfolds was beautiful. I love the fact that the first few episodes was solely dedicated to get to know the main lead and her goals. Really helped me empathize and connect with her emotionally, everytime she accomplished something and the go! ost by dk plays it felt like my personal achievement and gave me a huge adrenaline boost lol . Of course Kim tae ri did an amazing job as always.

Usually in dramas with this genre there are alot of filler episodes and I will lose interest around the 12th episode. But this drama got me hooked till the very end,

One of the best and heartwarming but at the same time it was heartbreaking. Despite knowing the ending beforehand I couldn't stop crying.

I personally liked the ending. I think na hee do deserves better. Yes yi jin is a sweetheart and loved hee do dearly. But I empathize with hee do, throughout her childhood she has always been the second choice, she kept getting ditched by her mom even in some of the most important moments of her life bc of her job and she was always expected to be understanding and adjust. It is not fair that she is expected to adjust that way in her adult relationship as well. She deserves someone who can be actively present in her life as a strong emotional support and fill the void of loneliness in her heart.

It was a realistic but bittersweet ending (But a part of my unrealistic petty ass still hopes that her husband died or something and those two kind of reunites in the end like in how i met your mother lol)
