The majority of the characters are so unlikeable minus sis-in-law, duanwu and zhang ziyong. Zhang ziyong captured my interest. Wonder why bao zheng was characterized this way, I preferred the movie version.

I'm just starting this series, but I think the FL character is very weak for a detective. I wished she's more of a badass, at least she is not annoying. I like the director's previous series (chef hua & fang) so I guess I expected a lot from this drama.
