I did mention that they are a couple of years, subin is 3 year away from 30 not 1 BTW the jump from 27 to 30 is huge. The thing is the drama's main focus is women in their 30s, that's the whole plot. I think it's weird that they had women in their 20s playing ordinary 30 yr old women all of them are neither ordinary and 2 of them are not even 30. We are all entitled to our opinion

Oh well sorry that I am stating it's weird having women in their 20s playing 30 yr olds no 28 is not 30 in Korean age and subin is my age I sure still haven't experienced anything 30 yr olds experience it's a huge jump even if it's a couple of years. They sure picked the guy in his mid thirties so didn't have any problem with that. Especially so with a slice of life kind of drama where you get to see the aspects of these people in their age range. Might not be a big deal for you but it is for me. It actually ruined it.

You want to say the worst actress is han so hee right. If I can describe her she is just pretty that all she is. Nothing more all her roles are so annoying if I have to give the best actress award i would say nara nailed it in her latest drama along with her ghost mom

All the new actresses are very overrated and they went to success over a day especially the squid girl model its hard to even call her an actress as for actors some of the og actors like gong yo and grim Reaper in goblin forgot his name his acting is stiff af. Iu is still stiff Suzy is good but not that good. Han so hee I just can't stand her at all she has the same range of motion. I can watch any drama by any actress but not her she is an instant pass

My only concern with this is if the pull the cgi and place I know both actors are phenomenal especially gong hyo Jin so if they do it right it will be a masterpiece, I agree that Lee Minho lacks a bit in acting but if paired with a great actress like gyj he can shine we saw it in legend of the sea, both actors have a phenomenal chemistry with their partners so you don't have to worry, I am just so excited about ghj comeback she is so unique and her smile can melt my heart diffrent from the new kpop idol looking actresses like han so hee can't stand her or her acting if it's done right we might have something as good as interstellar

At this point it's embarrassing i never really seen this much hypocrisy or bother with actors Minor "age gap" which is not since it's 7 yrs and 7 yrs is not an age gap at all 😭, it's all the main stream exposure of weird kpopies children. Pls watch Hollywood or something and go away

I had the same thought and it was really disgusting but she will eventually meet her true love a young handsome prince and will hate and deceive the emperor I skipped some of the scenes with grandpa emperor

Update I don't get it!! Why aren't we getting that kiss scene they cut it out why just whyyyy (talking about lizhi and meiniang) also almost 50 eps of old emperor where in history she didn't stay with him that long and didn't love him at all!!! Ughh but still watching for my otp zhinu and ruyi

People are saying that miyue loved 3 men throught the drama, that's not true she never loved labuo (old man) he was a brother and a father figure (I know ew creepy as hell) she stayed with him out of necessity and not love when she met her first love she didn't leave with him not because she love the emperor but because of her unborn son, even on his bed death she didn't tell him that she loved him as a man, her only real husband is king of yiqu while she loved huang Xie the most but stayed in a platonic love. Honestly it was so hard to watch that so called romance with labuo it was just gross and the way he treated her like a child and she as a her late father I skipped all of their scenes, the drama really starts when he finally dies and miyue is free (and me from this torture) I have to say at least we got Gao Yun xiang the only handsome man in this drama wish we had more of him and much less with old emperor. Overall not a bad drama but needs a lot of skipping

Overall it's a really entertaining drama and honestly I would still re-watch it from time to time. I just have major complaints about the ending I mean couldn't they just show us the boy in the beginning of the drama?? The made such an effort not to, like why tho?!? And let's talk about Suzy, actually good /funny character but that kiss with gong yo ew no no no. Talking about gong yo doing an 18 yr old boy after a while I just forgot he was, he was a mature boy from the get go so I didn't feel much of a difference. I love the leads chemistry a lot and gong yo was such a good looking man!!! That bod! The rating might be low in this site but honestly if you don't have a problem with the premise and concept it's a very enjoyable drama with some minor flaws and major ones toward the very end

Still haven't moved on from this and want season 2 with lots of romance and him stopping his psychic ability if you know what I mean
