I want to watch this for kim muyeol. Can someone please give me an overview of his character without major spoilers?
for anyone curious about this - his character is the assistant/right hand man of the ML (the politician). he's the kind of character who is very serious about work and is extremely loyal to the ML / always has the ML's interests as his top priority. due to the nature of his job, he remains in close contact to everyone related to the ML and communicates with them somewhat regularly. i know he is listed as a main role but after watching the whole show i think it's more accurate to say that he's a more prominent supporting character.
i'm currently on ep 3 and have been watching on 2x speed since midway through ep 1. so far the plot is interesting enough for me to keep watching but just very slow. i feel like there are a lot of scenes where the characters are not doing anything. let's see how it goes.
edit: just finished watching ep 14. the plot only picked up like 60% through the series. i still think the plot is okay but incredibly slow. like i mentioned, i watched the whole thing on 2x speed and it felt normal so i can't imagine how people are watching this on normal speed. there are also so many repeated scenes of just the ML and FL hugging and supporting each other like okay we get it. it felt very draggy and boring at times but the mystery alone kept me going i'm ngl. some of the twists towards the end felt very forced though. like as if the writers were just adding drama for the sake of it.
edit2: finally finished the show. the ending was predictable ... i wouldn't say this show was bad but i wouldn't recommend it. it's not worth watching all the episodes to find out about the actual events of the mystery. also, the daughter was extremely annoying and out of pocket from start to finish.
i come back to this page once every few months in hopes that he would be releasing a new show. i just saw him on Na PD's channel (channel fullmoon). hope he's doing well 😭

i really love jihu too but i gotta disagree here, the players did explain their rationale too. jihu and dongjae both memorised the maze differently and the maze layout of the last 2 rounds matched dongjae's style more than jihu's "shapes" memorising technique.
another show ruined because of netflix. i came here for the games but they were incredibly boring. not to mention the characters werent acting like themselves like what others have mentioned lol. very disappointed but it wasnt entirely unexpected 💀
tbh i found the hide and seek game a little boring and of course the birth in the middle of all of it was way too unrealistic. also, is it just me or was the set for hide and seek so small?? i can clearly see the same few junctions and stairs and it just felt like a really small maze. i actually like the ending though, i wasn't expecting them to actually stop the games because the rich will forever exist and the poor will continue to be enticed to join the games. that being said, i'd wish they just release season 2 and 3 together because i lowkey lost my emotional connection to the existing characters when i watched season 3.
