was i the only one who was kinda disappointed with the whole gao shi de going to the usa and shu yi's father "threatening"…
IMHO, the quality of writing is the same. At least, all the things I liked about the 1st season are still there. It’s just different because there’s a lot of pain in the mix, but hey, they’ve promised us a happy ending. The point of the couch scene is that the dude is suffering but can’t use his words for the life of him. And when he falls into the water and screams it’s a sort of reference to S1E1, except that now there’s no one who’d come to his rescue. If that isn’t good writing, what is? Shi De’s getting trapped in this promise is rather stupid, but it matches his character. He thought he was doing the right thing and he thought that Shu Yi had given up on him. So it all makes sense.
What do you think his MBTI type is? I’m 99% positive he’s IxxJ. INFJ maybe? He doesn’t talk much and values…
They’ve taken their fan service much further since then, and it’s kind of sad to see, but if you want to be an entertainer in Asia, apparently, it’s part of the job. The parents will get over it. If you think SamYu are in a relationship irl, who the hell knows. Probably not, most likely not, but in any case it’s none of our business.
You’ve noticed that Pei Shou Yi is in his late thirties or thereabouts, right?Shu Yi’s dad is really weird,…
I may have misunderstood the concept, but I think I’ve got a pretty decent idea of what kind of guy he is. He wants his performance to be authentic, no matter what it takes. And if it ever comes to doing drugs on set, who knows, maybe he will. I doubt that the crew will let him, though.
So Sam went to get breakfast for Shu Yi but somehow ended up on the roof of the building sitting on a bench looking…

Shu Yi’s dad is really weird, I agree. I wonder where they’re going with it.
Sam knows better what he’s doing. If you’re a method actor, you get drunk to play a drunk. But idk what the point was because he doesn’t really look drunk somehow?
