This drama was a breath of fresh air! original, heartwarming, and beautifully executed.I loved the humour also

It took me over a week to get over it haha. You'll be fine eventually 😊
Still a really good show and I'm getting more the ending of the book after reading some comments about it. It made sense.
But still I won't be able to re-watch it 😭

I jumped from episode 12 to 35 et 36 episode. I couldn't continue watching. It was hard for me to follow.
also, I found the FL a little bit annoying (too cheesy) as a character. The scenes were mostly the leads in the theater.
The character of ML didn't really display the power of it.
I couldn't bring myself to watch it after watching "lost you forever" (yes there's is some similarities) which was a masterpiece.

I didn't understand why XL asked the FL to make him poisons in the first place.
Also he fell for her but for what particular reason exactly? cause it wasn't shown in the drama.

By the ending, the FL didn't even have to move on in the drama. Like what she lived and experienced with 
Xiang Liu was extremely interesting and unique, their connection. He was her soulmate in the drama.
She was too focused on herself and didn't bother to try to understand his point of views.

Also, he treated her for almost 40 years so dearly.. By the end she left without thanking him and worse she even let herself think that he did it only for business.. That he stopped her marriage only for business...
She was a coward and didn't dare to actually see. 
Xiang Liu as Fangfeng tried to make her ask the right questions but in vain. She only would've chosen him if he gave up on what/who he is.

The FL was quite indecisive and didn’t know what she wants..

Xiang Liu deserved more screen time, especially in season 2, to fully display his character development and focus on his story to better understand the choices he made. Because clearly, there was other ways.
The ending for him was rushed and left frustrated.
Xiang Liu was my favorite character in the drama.

Tushan Jing was the least likeable character of the drama. I honestly skipped the majority of his scenes. Nothing against the actor portraying him.

The storyline was good and intriguing, the visuals, Xiang Liu costumes.. were nice. But the script could have been so much better.

Season 1 was better than season 2. I really enjoyed the first episodes and hated the last ones and the ending. The last ones are lacking since we didn't really see/felt the longing and a genuine scenes/reaction of 'lost you forever'.

Never mind, I should've known better! still a good drama though specially season 1.

I've started the show because of your comment and I shouldn't have. It's addicting, nice visuals, storyline .. but I ended up disappointed by the ending.

The problem is not him not getting the female lead. He deserved so much more from the writers, more screen time, more recognition, a better ending.

You didn't get the drama and you misunderstood a lot of scenes as I can see.
Try to give it another chance in 10 years.
