Lol. Those are unrealistic dramas. I mean there are guys like this in real life. Don't you guys call it the beta guys? I have quite a few nice male colleagues who look nice but then suddenly sprout some male idiotic crap. Some ideas are better read in books or watched in films. However finding guys are like this is like looking for gold amongst the chaff. I am watching this even though I don't like the traditionally drama format because the director doesn't linger on useless scenes and the FL can really act. If it was just an averagely talented actress I would usually not bother with these sort of plots.

You just told me what to tell people. Its like pot calling the kettle black. She/ he doesn't toxic male leads. Classic Kdramas is or are full of unhealthy interactions. Its not a supportive relationships and its full of secrets and misunderstanding.
In real life. We are watching a Kdrama. The writer does need a plot.
Its often used but its the execution that counts. I have seen writers try to be too clever and wrote convoluted plots. Sometimes the true and tried formula if executed well is more enjoyable. And has a higher chance of success in draw8ng in the audience. It certainly did for me and i am usually a nitpicker.

Ah. Isn't that standard Kdrama? OTT. No employee would even be tasked with this. Its not allowed legally. She didn't go to HR. He demanded. She gave in. Both parties are to blame. If you use logic to apply for this drama you might as well not watch it. I am trying to work out how she knew he was even at the pool. I think you should give up watching these sort of dramas and watch a straight slice of life drama. Rom com dramas are never sensisble, logical, humane. Its always tothe extreme.
Meh, I don't like that he's been toxic to her just because she isn't what he expected her to be, single and free…
Er you must live in a very civilised place. He didn't even swear or throw things.
Toxic? I think his actions are normal. He probably owns shares in the company. The employee is lying. She should quit.
What toxic things? He threatened her? You want him to go straight to HR? To accuse of her having an affair then being married. She was supposedly married.
He wasn't even yelling much. She admitted to every accusation.
My theory is that ML somehow finds it out himself and will keep her secret / protect her after that without letting…
That's sounds like what I'd like to see. I know it will be resolved but how its going to be done is what will make it a good rom com. The director is really making Jang Ki Yong shirtless regularly.
The premise is funny but how are we going to clear the confusion? Its because the acting is so good that even I am worried because Da Rim is so earnestly serious. I mean I don't see it resolved humorously.
I am currently onto ep 8 now. I have kept up with the spoilers. I don't know if its because I've tempered my expectations…
Do you guys mind DM the direct link of the k**kh site please? My phone had an update and the links doesn't work for me anymore. I have Netflix and viki subscriptions but want to watch ep 39. Viki hasn't caught up yet. Thanks. My phone keeps giving me an error message.
I am currently onto ep 8 now. I have kept up with the spoilers. I don't know if its because I've tempered my expectations or because I know the upcoming plots; but this drama is not as bad as you guys make it to be. I literally know the upcoming scenes and I know the future scenes so its actually quite smooth going- story and scene transitions- its keeping me entertained.
The best part is that I know what happens in the end.
I watched ep 40 last night. It was very uneventful. It wasn't epic.
I watched ep 27 last week to see where we are at.
So I went back to rewatch episodes 1 and 2 just now and moving onto ep 4 now. Everything is so much more acceptable knowing the ending.
By the way, I was watching Victoria Song's action scenes. Her movement are more fluid with the wirework. She is also not petite which makes it more believable. What made me laugh was that I realised her episodes 1- 4 expressions are the same.
So I decided to look at her professionally. She has an immobile forehead and cheeks. Those of you who knows what I mean will know what causes it. Other than that she is an immaculately fit and youthful late 30s actress. Gosh she is fit. All that movement using wirework in episode 40 at her age? Did you see her positions? My muscles ached watching her.
The ending was really underwhelming. The conversation and some group interactions so trite and predictable.
I'll actually finish this drama I think since I like the Chu brother's romance and the Song brothers. I am completely ambivalent about the main couple romance if this is how the behave at the last scene. I blame it all on the writer.
I am kinda relieved that this drama is watchable. I have actually taken the drama recommendations advice given here. Mobius is one of the best time travel drama I've seen. I really, really enjoyed it. So thanks for the recommendation everyone. I still have 3 more dramas to go.
Is he in a small company or something? He has 8 dramas filmed but only a couple aired last year.
What gives? Was there a scandal or something?
I am toying whether to start Fight for love from ep 3 or this... I am keen for this. However the continuous comments about the FL. And that its been filmed awhile back... is it that bad? The ratings are good.
Except the serious issues are so serious that I'm slightly concerned.
The abusive father and backstabbing sibling comes with some serious domestic violence. I mean he suspects his mum's fracture to be suspicious.
The loan sharks are serious loan sharks. I am so used to kooky loan sharks so when they actually kidnapped her... was a shocker.
The main couple have really good timing with their scenes. The actor is going all out. I have never seen him so intense.

Do you need a hug? I am traumatised just reading that.
