Something major did happen to their relationship. I also thought I wouldn't like the plot line for those episodes…
Thanks. I have 2 new dramas to start.

I like this a lot but the streaming sites have this delay for Adblockers so it stops and starts. It is smootj streaming for me on viki so I have to be patient for viki to catch up.

Thank you for the heads up. I will look forward to ep 15.

Anything major happened relationship- wise for ep 14 and 15 please? Otherwise I would wait till Sat.

I caught the preview monologue for ep 14- 15 accidentally online and I didn’t like that plot line. Its difficult streaming this MangoTV videos on streaming sites. It keeps stopping so I was going to watch when viki cathes up.

I mean I have heard his natural voice in other dramas. You mean he wasnt dubbed? I will go back to his other dramas and listen again.

I checked. The voice actor is Wei Yi Fen

The Shen and Di Nian actors are really young aren't they? I just finished Road to success so slightly disoriented with seeing the actor as a high schooler and now having a secondary romance line.

I was looking at the size of the throne room and going " wow the budget is really high. "

The production team has jammed the cast with good looking young men to the point I am going " is this an idol drama? "

The dubbing for Chen Zhe Yuan has really ruined the experience for me. He looks so slight and overwhelmed by his clothing colours yet the production team had a voice actor with a deep, commanding voice. The difference in the image is quite jarring.

I have caught up now and waiting for multiple episodes daily instead of single episodes over the weekend. Why is that?

very true... one of the most disappointing part to me in this drama is that they could have easily shown a marriage…
The 2nd ML can't act except look pretty- his lipstick was distracting. However the characters themselves were well written.

The parents stories though were so sweet. I was caught by surprise. How can the dad NOT sound cheesy. Man they made me smile.

The secondary characters were so well cast. The other guy. All I can remember him as now is the " heol " guy in ep 9. He is a genuinely nice character. I also really like the fact that the FL is an engineering graduate vs someone from like a small regional university who had to claw her way in. I like having people with qualifications have their moments.

But yeah I also like the improbable cliched OTT romance dramas.

Eeeek. I just finished one drama yesterday and had nothing to watch. I am so happy to find this. Hallelujah man.

I don’t know even if its good but I trust the actors choices. Please be good.

Yup. My mistake I apologise. There were a lot of coincidences. The drama made the FL very competent. Poor and diligent as per normal Kdrama.

The FL here is also competent, realistically flawed, more bold than I thought but yeah this drama is quiet. No big loud moments but like every office working day it just keeping moving along.

That was a typical Kdrama and all the improbable birth secrets and coincidences. The way the male lead fell for her as well.

This is actually the more realistic office romance. The way they got together and how capable she is in her job. The ML was also more likable as a person.

Its very rare that I leave a drama satisfied.

I am very, very satisfied. That is a really good ending and by the way the parents really touched my heart. I wasnt expecting anything for their roles except be the parents.

Like I said, classy all the way. Super satisfied with this drama. It had all the elements just right.

this is weird comment... its not FL centric and you probably know the same amount of info of both characters by…
Veiled slight? I don't need to make vague comments. I expected this to be a normal Kdrama and wanted more info. I am finishing off 3 Cdramas and 2 Kdramas. If this drama is going to be complicated I will marathon when it ends. If the synopsis says its light or there is enough tags I will watch or not watch it until it ends based on the tags. I didn't even bother to read about the dramas before it aired.

Yeah I do. So whatcha going to do about it?

You are weird. Did you even read the tags?

It makes a difference if he is a poor prosecutor getting involved with a rich girl. Don't you know Kdrama plots? It changes with the cliche. I wanted to know if he is secretly rich so therefore they will be fine once his secret identity is exposed.

If not the picky grandmother will not approved of the match ergo break up. Time jump. That sort of thing.

So yeah.... you're the weird one jumping into a drama blind.

The tags for the drama made me laugh. I came to check if the male lead is rich or not based on the way the grandmother behaves. Then I see hardly anything about him except that he is a prosecutor.

Does that mean I don't have to pay any attention to him since it will be all about the FL?

I avoided ep 9 and 10 when it aired after ep 8 aired last week thinking it will be bad. However these turned out to be 2 of my favourite episodes instead.

Yes the plot is predictable but the execution is so good. I think its a combination of writing, deft directing and great acting. The ensemble cast here is delightful. The way its done is so classy. I actually repeated a few scenes. One example is when Gi Tae was in the
office. His " heol " was so,
so,funny I repeated it
twice.

I have never seen the FL's mother smile so much. I really, really laughed in ep 10.

So yeah I really like how they moved the plot forward. It really shows how a cast and director can make or break the tone of a drama. One other thing, the director obviously gave specific instructions for the kiss scenes.

Like I said I have really laughed quite a bit for this drama. The execution js outstanding. I am looking forward to ep 11 and 12.

You wrote, "The male lead is only 1 year older than the FL". But Wang Yang is 48 and Landy Li is 26. By…
I can't even remember this drama. Lol.

Thanks. I will correct it. Hw is born in 1978 and she in 1999. I think I meant 21 years older.

This was 4 months ago. I will need to rewatch one episode beforeI edit my comment. I can't even work out what my post meant with the age gap.

Edit I had to rewatch multiple episodes. It was a typo. I meant 21 years difference.

I would remember this drama because of the students. I cannot remember the last time I have been so fond of a high school drama. I didn't even bother to comment about the adult romance.

I hope the actors have or develop friendships from this drama. Talk about chemistry- the team chemistry is insane however the director must also ensure it flows ans it did. This is one drama where the actors did a lot of exercise and running. The kids who were played by adults were just phenomenal. They were so sweet and so supportive of each other and so brutally frank like boys can be. I absolutely adore them and they were the best part of this drama. I came for Chen Jing Ke because I watched Amidst a snowstorm for love but stayed on for the soccer team. Their high school reunions- if this was real life- would be a riot.

Goodbye drama. Some things or parts were normal Cdrama boring but I don't regret watching it. Fu Xin Shu is so sweet I wished he was the type of leads we encounter in high school dramas. He is so earnestly sweet and supportive.

The dialogues are well written and clear so if you understand Mandarin, there is no reason to not to turn off…
The Crown Princess title for the ML's is confusing. I think its her name and then the kid belongs to Madame Rui. Edit- good golly I think I adjusted to the lingo now. How embarrasing. Is he the 4th Prince. They have been calling her the 4th xiefei. Lol. I think I will get better with more episodes.

However the subs said Madame Rui his maid. You and I know that sometimes the maid in a male master's household is also the sleeping companion. However she is married or was married. I am going to ignore the subs and just watched. The subs were confusing because the comments here said the kid is his wife's child. Anyway... they are not important. Married ladies are generally not maid to Princes. The subs here...

I can't read Chinese but can read Hangul. Laziness... when I go to a drama the subs are there. If push comes to shove I can watch both Korean and Chinese dramas without subs but its just that historical dramas are harder for me. The sentence structure doesn't bother me as I used to sub both Korean and Mandarin dramas so if I am stuck I just translate in my head...
