So the special effects and the fighting leaves a lot to be desired but I think the actors and the FL are doing…
The 2 guards are manly good looking vs idol pretty. I do appreciate it. However I don't even recall seeing them in any other dramas. I can recognise the actors in the other supporting roles.
I'm starting to think that I'm too used to horror and thriller dramas. I've seen some comments that this got a…
Its not movie level scary but a " nice " scary if you know what I mean.
I don't particularly like gruesome and horrifying movies. So I am just happy it has story, some horror and watchable. The ghosts are not mindless possessed creatures.
There isn't anything like this currently airing all week. I don't feel like watching a zombie series. I also don't want a horrifying ghost look that will keep me up at night.
I just want something nice to watch so I am happy. Its not as if I am afraid of blood and gore. My job has blood and gore so nothing made up can compare anyway.
Why is wetvβs subbing soooo bad? Can they stop using buddy for ah xiong? And when did mingshu say that she dreamt…
Hahaha. You made me laugh. Every time I see the " buddy " I cringed. However I actually can't work out an alternative.
" Brother." Would that work? If I was subbing something like this I would put an explanation " casual term " and used " brother. " Alternatively don't even sub it.
This remind me of modern dramas where they used a slang for someone overweight and the subber just used it as his Chinese name.
The sailors are young men. The weightlifters will eat protein.
I am not talking fried greasy food. If you go outdoors and go snorkelling etc you'll need more than what was served.
Did you see how much rice they gave those guys?
I am Asian myself and I have been to SK several times... you're not feeding people with a slow metabolism. You think Asians eat so little? I have been on camps and the skinny guys were taking 3- 4 helpings.
That kongguksu dish- that wasn't a lot.
Did you see the kimchi jjim they cooked? That was one pot for like... 11 people. Yes I happened to cook Korean food as well. That was an extremely small amount of pork for like 8 men and 3 women.
That was also one serve of rice and curry as well. Its not as they had banchan etc.
7 episodes in and the staff must not do outdoorsy stuff.
You can't have a group of young people especially athletic young men and only have a single serve. They ought to have 4x the serves of rice or noodles.
They need to cook 4x the quantity of food in S2 compared to this season. The poor guests. Fresh air, sunshine and exercise. This is not Seoul. Feed them more.
This is one chaotic outdoor variety show. Good selection of guests. I am still on ep 7 but will probably end up rating it highly. I was just at Daejeon last year and didn't visit KAIST but the science centre next to it. The episode 1 and 2 students there made me laugh a lot.
Very, very nice episodes . The dad made me tear up.
The job seekers are pure chaos. Did you see how they responded to Jin? Its like platoon soldiers responding to the platoon leader. Yes I know his rank ; i am saying their response and the way he was talking to them shooting out instructions. Anyone who has done any army training can hear the rhythm. Its better if you understand Korean.
I started ep 1 yesterday and its been extremely entertaining. I am a 3 meals a day variety show viewer and their concoctions are nuts.
Highly recommended. Netflix really needs to improve on their subs. The Korean centric remarks and cultural humour lost because of the subs is kinda sad.
Its good. I am not a BTS fan but its a really fun variety show and the suffering from the campers.
The Netflix subs detracted the humour by about 25% because of the pedestrian subs. Its hilarious in Korean. I am on ep 7 now after starting ep 1. I have never laighed so much. I am also used to rustic camping conditions and not a city slicker so the episodes just made me cackle like a loon.
I also love the sea and my kids do surf lifesaving and I've been bringing them to the Korean coastal cities on our last 2 trips. I already googled how to get to Ulleongdo next year since we are heading to Gangneung.
i dunno why im still continuing this haha im still curious how the ML and FL will get together as of now mingshu…
I am waiting for the viki episodes to catch up because if I fast forward on K**sh ads pop up. I have Netflix and viki access so can't be bothered getting any WeTV subscription.
Besides I'm having a ball of a time watching Kian84's B&B.
And why are you askng that?

In this day and age. Its under a decade.
She is technically a PGY4 as we call it in Australia and he is a 5th year. Even adding in a 18 month national service the character age gap is minor.
If you're talking about a rea life age gap then you might as well not watch any dramas. Otherwise there would be many " disgusting " pairings.
What is even more disturbing to get this comment in this day and age. I didn't realise that such archaic views still exist in drama land fans.
Let me take a moment to appreciate ep 10's preview. I think I need to schedule a time to watch ep 10 then go back and rewatch ep 9's highlights.
Kim Sa- Bi's secret might have trumped the other highlight today. I think my brain went into shock at the secret.
And some people are moving at the speed of light.
I just read this ππππ
I am still just a few minutes before ep 20 ends. I am waiting to see what happens in the end to decide if I want to continue.

And sigh, we really have to stop these torture business in historical dramas.
I recommend kian84 B&B. I am up to ep 6 today.
There is no gripping drama on currently.
Besides I'm having a ball of a time watching Kian84's B&B.
