The male lead is dressed in an intense manner- strong colours.
The female lead. Who follows the actress? Is it her or the role? I have never seen a female lead who SMILES 100% of the time. Or has her lips tilted up in a slight smile the whole show. I couldn't work out when she was actually upset or hurt.
Well... at least it ended up very well for a xianxia drama and I'm not left with trauma. Who knew that I would end up with a soft spot for Wei Ju in the end?
However I do not understand the vase and the candle going off scene. Can someone please explain? Thanks.
I was holding off till more episodes aired but just discovered it was about the older brother in Hidden Love.
I am struggling to recall him in HL Was he that grumpy guy in HL nagging at his sister? I don't remember much about him. I cannot even remember if he had a girlfriend.
Since its the same source- has his story deviated much?
I don't know what the schedule is but I am waiting till ep 20 airs or something so I can slowly catch up. All the angst waiting for airing dramas the last 2 months was exhausting. I am just going to marathon dramas for a while.
Is there supposed to be gossip about this ? Maybe she was casted for her acting skills. Why would her real age…
Its the MDL tag. They don't normally do the age gap. I have started watching ep 1 and for the life cannot work out the age comments then the plastic surgery comments.
I am here because I can't work out if its going to turn out to be a horror thriller or something. Or a supernatural drama. I tend to avoid and drop these.
I couldn't find many comments about whether people like the story, acting, chemistry or writing. However plenty of other comments.
I saw it. I like the male lead. However I think this drama is best binged so I can fast forward what irritates me. I was watching ep 22 yesterday. Its a bit more draggy than I like. I am actually swamped with work so have no time for slower dramas. I want to finish off Study Group, Les Bells and Iron Family.
The pacing is not the type of pacing I like. The writing style... I don't think I'd drop it but have too much work commitments to catch up on ep 9-22.
I'm in a similar condition as you..Thanks for leaving a comment so that i know I'm not the only one. I'm triggered…
Step away from it.
Then look at your usual management plan suggestions your psychologist or therapist or you yourself normally use.
However please don't come back to this drama discussion site. Not MDL but this drama. Please do not watch this if you know ahead of time. However it is common in Cdrama plots but they don't usually write such endings.
I do not know if you're a veteran but if you are please call the support groups. Or basically call and speak to someone this coming week. All the best. If you have been diagnosed formally I hope you have some management strategies. Please use them. Call a national helpline if you can't get anyone on the weekend.
I sincerely thank everyone for the spoilers. This might be the first time I've been traumatised reading spoilers.
As someone who has encounters with veterans with severe PTSD; the ending is very traumatising. I cannot believe such an ending was acceptable.
The other thing is that my whole MDL page is now in French. I speak 6 languages and write in 3 but French is not one of them.
I repeat that's a very scary ending. Did the writer even talked to the veterans? When I read the posts about the letter my heart sank. I have PTSD from dealing with suicide attempts from those veterans. The writers were really irresponsible if they didn't actually write a positive resolutions from others before giving that to the drama audience. I might have been triggered because there was an actual suicide last month but not during my working hours. I get notifications for incidences.
I had no inkling this was going to be like this. You know how dramas whitewash stuff normally.

I have not followed the gossip behind this. He is young. She is young but she is his classmate. Weren't there any older actresses around?
Its just that there was a tag for age gap on MDL. Otherwise I wouldn't have actually checked it out.
That is some solid casting. They are almost all of them veteran actors
I also discoveted I've watched about 4 previous dramas by the same writer.
I think I have too much adrenaline coursing through my bloodstream right now.

Another drama on the backburner. Its short so guess I have to wait another week? I can't see the airing schedule beyond Sunday.

I just finished ep 22 because I couldn't stand it anymore.
I will go back to ep 8 tomorrow. Who knew what 22 episodes were going to be so hard?
So I am here for spoilers.
