I’m still in the early stages of the series, but given the age gap, I expected the woman to play a more dominant role; however, finding out that a younger man is her boss feels—I don't know—odd. We already see this dynamic in romances where the man is older, so I had hoped for a different kind of story here due to the age difference. Unfortunately, it feels rather ordinary.
