Yes. As it comes out on a Sunday and ONLY comes out on viki on a Wednesday you would think they would give them those few days to get ahead of the release. Simple solution. Some must get it earlier as some are released with the Eng Subs already there?

That's what I figured but, as they are meant to work in teams then the subtitles should be released when everyone is done so they're complete. Viewers can't tell where the segments stop and start or how they were split.

I knew it was volunteers but that doesn't make sense why they do it in this weird way. When I see 78% complete I expect it to be the first 78% not missing out whole segments.

The translators for Love is science were always slow though even more there was a BL element but not THIS slow. Why can't the volunteers be given the show on Sunday so by the release on Wednesday they're ahead?!?

Worse is that they did the first 30 minutes, skipped 20 minutes then did the last 20 minutes. So what, we are suddenly fluent in Mandarin for 20 minutes in the middle?

I'm guessing different people do different parts and SOMEONE is on a go slow because this week's is painfully slow.

Yeah the pace isn't right and the pauses drive me mad. Aek sounds like he's got speech issues.
As for the showers, I recommend the all required beach episode every week with showers too.
