Ths series falls in the same type of plot elements that nirvana in fire/ Joy of life/sword snow stride/the ingenious one/six flying dragons have. I.e revenge, politics, battle of wits, mind manipulation, power struggle, scheming etc

Regarding why it's tagged as romance - rom is one of the driving force of plots (especially for Ml) but it's not the most highlighted part.. Its hidden blend behind curtains nd you only get the aroma of it not full taste
