Let's see how the final episodes go to slightly change my opinion
8.5. Could be absolute 10 if not for what irked me ..about fl regarding rom department.. (that's why I removed 1.5 directly). I have no problems with her in other things. I came here for romance but that aspect just didn't sit well with me.. In a long distance relationship setting.. My ratings are based on enjoyment heavily.. So ya know why. ND after knowing they added this aspect of fl only in series nd it wasn't in novel.. It made me go to writers 🤬
literally all episodes I always observed ml always took the initiative most of the time nd she made so much excuses..trying to dodge.. Urgh. Frustrating it was. I honestly couldn't feel passion from her side.. The way I did from mls side.... Like seriously they were apart from each other for so many days/months nd when they meet always ml is the one who looks more yearning for love to me full of desire unlike her (maybe bcoz its the actresses, she needs to improve) . For me the rom department is unbalanced 60/65% ml and 40/35% fl. Imo! Currently watching ep27.. Also I read that fl in novel didn't make excuses or dodge ml like they made the fl on drama do...so I understood why I felt this way about series version nd end up enjoying the game competition more even if they were shown not that much.. Than rom at times. I see you boring/uninteresting script writers.. Trying to change things as always.. They all have an itch to do this.
Here in this world souls are significant... There thinking is different. Don't apply logic of our world.... Regarding the souls part especially It's confusing yeah but the title is alchemy of SOULS... souls ya know 😶 Jang UK is an anomaly he won't exist if not for the alchemy of souls done... He came into existence because of that specific spell. I get it it's not uks mom's fault but in the end when the deed happened it was someone else's soul other than her husband for real in the body so that's why in a way it is SA The affair part is just a facade that was spread around to cover uks mystery/origin
