My top fav c series are joy of life, sword snow stride, the long ballad, story of Kunning palace, rise of the Phoenixes you should watch all of them if you haven't except jol ofcourse

You need to watch Sword snow stride also zhang ruoyun there it's the only series which comes closest to the type of overall genre JOL fits in and SSS doesn't have a cliffhanger ending instead it setups premise for season 2 that's a plus point

Master lee planned it out all along he never wanted to damage seol ran nd her priestess powers cuz she had a major role to play later on..nd he had a hunch regarding those. So Instead he used everything naksu had to do the recovery deed nd he on purpose lied to jin mama about seol ran being gone for good. Master lee was an interesting character he was neither evil nor a Saint.
