He remembers himself as he said to fl the same he did way back the prayer part where he said to her that I wish you could recognize me even if I appeared before you as someone else nd we have previous hints like when he got swapped he had already put golden spoon in his pocket nd they showed us him saying I'm hungry all these lead to the conclusion that he remembers nd he indirectly called joo hee to himself nd started giving her hints so that she will eventually recognize him

historicals can be stretched out due to layered plotss but simple rom stories can't recent failure of stories proves that like only for love despite having star cast the story went downhill in second half it could have been way better with shorter episodes
