The reason for the dubbing is bcs the Chinese government made a policy like that, that if the drama will be aired on normal TV then it must be dubbed. But not all dramas are dubbed. Dramas like The Oath of Love isn't dubbed at all bcs it wasn't aired on normal Chinese television

It is normal for cdrama actors and actresses to dub their own voices. Like Yang Zi, for example dubs her voice for all her dramas. Because they dub themselves after they finish filming, they might change some words when dubbing and so it might look weird

It is her voice, she dubbed her own voice. If you've watched her dramas and interviews you'll see that it is her own voice

It isn't possible for them to kill horses during filming, if they had with all of China's restrictions and stuff this series would never have been aired. Have you watched American movies, do you want to tell me that the horses in those movies too were killed. Instead of saying that, you should praise them for making it to look so real. That is good visuals.
