I know what you mean this is a gem of a BL and its a crime it doesn't have an international release as of yet…
Yeah I don't really know I haven't heard of any drama happening and there seems to be plenty of tiktoks and behind the scenes stuff out there of the show. It's not the first time i've seen a Japanese BL not being picked up by an international streaming site. They never seem to be in any kind of a hurry to release a BL internationally. I'm not sure if its whoever owns the rights just wants to keep it within Japan . It could be a cultural thing too because even though they have been making BL"s for some time, society is quite resistant to same sex romance in general. I honestly don't know why some get chosen internationally and others don't. It's a shame, but i'm just glad they are making them I definitely gravitate towards their style of film making more then any other country. Sorry not much help.
I am deeply impressed by the actor playing Yamato. His facial expressions at the end of ep 5 when he saw Kakeru…
I know what you mean this is a gem of a BL and its a crime it doesn't have an international release as of yet (hence the reason the subtitles are so bad, at least someone was trying) no offense to the Manga but this is far better adaption especially when it comes to the pacing of the story this is far superior. Both leads are great in their roles and I'm really enjoying it. I agree also you can understand alot of whats happening from just their facial expressions alone plus i've read the manga.
I sadly dropped this.😣 I am really really getting sick of this dumb misunderstanding trope.🤞 Yes, it is…
I do get what your saying its frustrating sometimes but misunderstandings and non communication is the 'bread of butter' so to speak of many romances not just BL's and without them the drama would be over even quicker, i've learnt to just go with the flow and hope the payoff is worth the wait. I like this drama though, its super cute.
Looks like all the CEW fans telling people not to watch if they don't like his acting is getting what they wanted.
why would his fans tell people not to watch his show? Do the fans want him to fail. I think he's okay as an actor I just think he's kinda like a 'movie star' that play a version of themselves in all their roles, not a bad thing because you can have a great career that way but it can get bit 'old' after awhile. That's all. I'm sure he's a lovely person it would just be interesting to see him stretching his acting wings and play against the type he's acted so far in his career and hey that might be his next project or maybe he isn't interested at all in doing that. Its his life.
I admit at first I wasn't a fan of "Good day to be a Dog" but its growing on me, I think its cute and its a shame it isn't doing better in Korea. I haven't read the webtoon but from what I've read Cha Eun Woo's character is on point. He's very pretty man but it would be nice to see him stretch his range as an actor and challenge himself and that doesn't mean doing a more physical role. If he's going to concentrate more on his acting than his music its a must, can't trade on your looks forever.
Kidnapping Day I haven't watched yet, I'll put it on my 'must watch' list but love love love "Sparkling Watermelon" which is just a brilliant show in my eyes.
Its beautifully shot and I know its essentially an advertisement of various locations and local food in Thailand, but i'm just glad they chose BL to showcase it.
Oh that look in Mews eye in the episode 7 trailer, I so want him to go a little deranged and take it out on Boston, please ... please I wanna see the mayhem. For someone who avoids dramas , I want all of it dumped on Ton's doorstep, shattering his daddies political aspirations.
I was quite pleasantly shocked with this studios track record of stinkers I really thought this might be the same but so far its good. Its cute and silly, I look forward to more.
I very much agree with your review, you were spot on. Honestly I was just bored to tears, I've never fast forwarded through a series this much before. I never even finished the final episode, by the end I couldn't of cared less. Thank you for your review, you were definitely more kind then I would have been.
It would be more useful/make more sense if you put your ep 1 review here, others in their proper episode review…
Thank you for your comments, there are far too many places to review under each show/series. The bottom of the main page, each episode (which by the way I never read) and then under the reviews tab. I get nobody might read my review if I place it here but I'm not here for the 'likes' thank you though.
Since more time passes, I start to think differently about this series. Well, something was off with my anyway…
Damn....okay. Some very serious hate lumped onto a simple BL, but okay you have your own thoughts and right to express them. Do drop it if its only annoying you. I'm loving all the analyzing and theorizing its all brilliant, the series is bringing out everyone's passionate ideas on all the characters and their motivations. I love this for a Thai BL in all its 'in your face' product placement glory. A BL... remember that! There to make us cry and gasp, swoon and jump around like giddy school children over one silly plot point after another. To 'entertain us' and take us on some simple fantastical journey not be Oscar worthy feats of screen writing and acting supremacy, there to shape our very existence on this planet. Entertain us and perhaps sell us some merchandise or get us to buy some music if they are very very lucky.
Ok. If you pause at 2:23 in the trailer, you can see in the back that it is clearly Kawi. So, that means, Pisaeng…
Yes I agree, I think he is talking to Kawi 'telling him he'll disappear if he follows him' its a very quick cut scene but he glances behind, I feel that speech is definitely aimed at Kawi. I feel there must be more though because his reaction to seeing Pisaeng again in the trailer for ep 8 (in I guess the past) seems more extreme like he hasn't seen him for awhile. That's why i'm wondering if Pisaeng made good on his threat and disappeared and Kawi maybe couldn't find the musical time machine thingy to fix his blunder for some time.
Im thinking about watching this but I am literally scared of everything, should I still give it a go?
It has scary-ish moments, its a great series i recommend, I'm invested, the mystery behind it made me binge watch the 6 episodes so far over one day. But if you're tolerance for horror is not great maybe not. Maybe just see how you go after the first episode...
