Agree and Well said! Chi Cheng seems like a very misunderstood character to those who cannot understand him emotionally…
Really! It breaks my heart whenever people shit on Chi Cheng🥲 How can they expect a man who lived half a decade of his life in the dark, suddenly be saved just because he knew light—and that light was Wu Suowei. Characters like him who is decisive and straightforward, hate it the most of being left in silence. All his words saying he felt most betrayed when Wang Shuo left just fell onto deaf ears. Abandonment for his is the end, not betrayal. That just shows how big his heart is.
I just saw the new preview and guys they changed things here.
Spoilers!!
WSW knew his mom's condition while they were still together, but here she's legit dying already. In the novel she died at her sleep in their home. CC and Wu Ma did not have this conversation😢 because when she got hospitalized he left as soon as he heard Wei's footsteps. Hence Wu Ma never knew their relationship! This was such a pleasing but very heartbreaking change but it really filled a part of me coz when i read it it felt like CC was robbed of his last moments too with Wu Ma 🥹🥹🥹 Chai Ji Dan really changed the script for the better
This was really a good episode yall. The build up from all the frustrations due to misunderstandings, leading to this scene and his final goodbye to Wang Shuo. Yall can never make hate him. His first thought was that perhaps he was overthinking it and when WSW came he asked him to explain first in a calm manner. Him sitting down, emphasizes how he's ready to listen and not to intimidate him. WSW who has lost all hope, decides to throw him harsh words and give him the chance to get out of the relationship by revealing the truth. This truth however only helped Chi Cheng understand that even with it, his heart already belonged to WSW. The knot in his heart is now untangled and he's now finally ready to walk away.
He comes up to Shuo to give him his clear answer, but he did it softly. Perhaps that's why he could not say it before, because he felt sorry for Shuo, feeling that he did not treat him well enough for Shuo to end up doing all of that. Shuo owned him for almost 10 years, but his closure for them was only to wish him well. When you think of it, Chi Cheng is less cruel compared to WSW and Shuo.
The conversation they had on the waterbed got me all up in my feels, they didn't clear up any of their misunderstandings…
I think its a mutual understanding for the two of them. As soon as WSW got to know Chi was actually spending time with his mom and that rainy night he wasnt with WS, most of the weight in his heart was lifted. Same with Chi, he gets that WSW did those stuffs with WZ to make him jealous and with the fact that WSW is soon going to lose someone important, he chooses to be tolerant and patient with him.
Wait,so you are telling me china released a bl with 24 episodes of 48 minutes with all that dog(censorship) in…
Cant blame korea, theyre not that bold enough yet. They need more investments for that. Most we got is Love in the Big City and oh my goodness all that rally and mess to cancel it lolz good thing the production and actors werent spineless
Wait, if the China is starting to release their bl's outside the mainland. Can't they release the old bl's too(like…
Unfortunately big productions like this will suffer a great lost since china is their #1 market so most of them are m betting on to waiting the restrictions will be lessen soon.
They're so cute istg awe so much affection, also---HUGS!! I love cuddly couples sm it feels so warm just watching them.
I get both of their struggles. Jiwon who has always been on the spotlight is very much conscious of what people think, in contrast to Jeongwoo's free spirited heart who is straightforward and steadfast towards what he wants. Jiwon is still figuring out how to handle a relationship and his concern for Jeongwoo's reputation yet Jeongwoo is willing to pull his heart out for Jiwon to see that he is more than willing to understand him despite the situation really hurts him. Good thing is they know that their intentions for each other are pure.
Their conversations towards the end of episode 6 is so vulnerable and shows us their fear that one of them might actually let go.
