I thought it was the last second of episode 38. It didn’t appear to me the last frame ZZ standing at the same spot turning around is part of the ending summary. Try watching it up to the last bit and let me know what you think. Earlier someone mentioned PGY interview hinting couldn’t be an ambiguous ending leaving up to your interpretation.

I can relate to the let down part because financial instruments are your expertise. Despite the lack of romance air time, my personal view, primarily the drama is the building on the couple romance, the crime thriller part makes the connection. I watched a recent Korean crime drama and the connection that holds together the story is poker. I don’t quite understand poker and wining stats, I dropped it despite the ML is one of my favorite. Perhaps that’s why you find a lot of loopholes same discrepancies in relation to the real financial world.
I rarely have the wish for two main leads to date in real life but those two have such a deep bond and it reflects…

I perfectly understand where you coming from. For layman like me and some of us out there might find the complexity of the whole scheme of things and financial jargons hard to comprehend. As for the USB stick, my guess is it contains the complex and intricate layering of financial transactions to hide the criminal and corrupt money laundering elements.

Peng Guan Ying and Elvira Chai are truly actors in a league of their own. The multifaceted facial expressions / personalities … the deep gaze … up to E36 I couldn’t gauge their next course of action. Both ML and FL are really in their element in this drama Unexpected Falling.
I love this episode (36) and I wished that their moments were longer because they are so cute and sweet 🥰
I know it’s such a pleasant surprise and a memorable moment. Love the bantering too at the RV. At least we get to savior the moment here in this drama unlike in The Confidence, but still the drama left a very deep impression.
Today’s episode 36 finally get a glimpse of Tan Shen and Zhen Zhen raw emotions as a couple at the car park scene after Gao Jun left. We’ve had a thrilling intense built-up right up to two episodes short of the finale. If they can keep up with the pace at the same time logically connecting the dots of the intricate web of deceit, it will end in a all time high note.

If going by previous history collaboration of these two leads and literary the whole cast in The Confidence, it’s will be a tragic ending. The ML role is the opposite in this drama, and going by unfolding events of E35, ML appears to be a man of substance with regards to how he treats the so-called ex and highly likely he’s working with the police to unravel the deception scheme.

I so am fascinated by the “Unexpected Falling’. This drama is a classic rare gem ! One of the best thriller and mystery drama I’ve seen all times. There is something about the story that intrigues you … the deception, scheming, colluding, conniving plot.
