So unrealistic like they didn't even try

Okay, I get that it's a fiction story. However, there are a couple of things that I cannot "let go" just because it's fiction:

1. Synesthesia doesn't work like this. Yes, the person with synesthesia might see scents, but not purely see without feeling the smell. The basics of how synesthesia works: when some part of brain senses the trigger, it activates not only related, but one more part. Meaning that you can hear and see, smell and hear, etc. What you cannot do is see the smell without hearing it - like when you are standing behind the glass or with nose closed. If that would be possible, MC would be able to see smells by photo. That's just so absurd that it pisses the hell out of me. Also, just why should eye be different, and ability working on one eye only? It's a brain condition, not eye.

2. Cliché: people with rare disorders. These people do exist, and it's totally ok to have them in a series, however, the point is that such disorders are actually RARE. And 3 people with rare disorders, caused by trauma (synesthesia, having no senses, and face blindness) meeting together is either laboratory or a beginning of the joke. Or they had some "club" and decided to meet. It's close to impossible for them all to be connected like this.

3. Very, very prolonged series. You already showed that main characters are getting married - why do you need details of that additional investigation to make them decide they want to work in that field? Just leaving that dinner scene (where "Oh this is from X whom I helped, this is from Y whom I helped" could have ended up a nice conversation about "You know, I wish to continue working on cases". Why do we need a full episode - no idea.

4. Police not able to work without a person with superpowers. For real, that last scene, where cops are desperate with amount of cases where people need help - just how they were working all this time? How were they solving crimes without MC?

5. Cliché 2 (and this one is super butthurting): you found out that something in your past affected your spouse in a bad way, and they don't know about it. You feel guilty. What to do? Of course, break up without telling the real reason, just "I stopped loving you". No, that's not how it works! You talk and express your feelings. This cliché is just too much.

6. Keeping secrets: at the beginning I was really happy that no matter what characters find out, they share it with the team, and we go further with the investigation. But at some point they just stopped, and started keeping secrets - while revealing the trooth could have helped solve the cases faster.

7. Young MC. I really like Shin Se Kyung's acting and so on, but why does she always play the younger version of herself as well? I mean, she is beautiful, but in any way doesn't look like a high schooler. She and Kim So Hyun are supposed to be ~ the same age in flashbacks - but I'd be damned if you can look at them and honestly say that they look like the same age. The person in 30, no matter how young they look, should not play a high schooler.

8. Corpses. They didn't even try to apply some basic "corpse" make-up for actors. One thing is a person who was in a car for a day or two - being with a normal, even a bit tanned skin - but the person who was in the river for a couple of days, and dead a day before that - looking like a sleeping person is just too much. They didn't even try making them look dead. Check A Korean Odyssey - there make-up is top-class in this matter. Here you can't tell alive and dead person apart.

I'm sure there were much more things that made me upset in this series, but I'll stop here.
