Shout out

I just want to take this moment to give a shout out to the writer, and casting director. It’s very rare to watch a drama where the female lead has a backbone, the FL was confident, not only in herself but also in her relationship, refusing to stay with someone because of 10 years, she knows her worth and what she will and will not tolerate. The FL played this part so well, she was very mature and handled her business. I hope to see her in more of these roles in the future. Now on to other things, the side characters, where okay, I’m more of a getting to know the main cast than the supported cast type of person, so for me it was a little too much back story for the other cast members, I get it, you have to beef up the story some how, and give the main leads a break, but over all this was a good drama

Umm

So I think this story had real potential, I should have ended at episode 22, when others started dropping it, but you always have hope that they are going to pull some greatness out from somewhere, but sad to say they didn’t accomplish this in any form. The down fall of this show was the leading woman, where to start…..

1. I did not like her attitude, in the beginning, okay we get it, arranged marriage, but why the attitude towards the ML, she runs a company, yet for the life of me I could not see her as a great business woman.
2. She assumed the worst of the ml every time, yet her dad, grandma, and so forth are very confident/ comfortable with him, again she is suppose to have a business mindset yet it never crossed her mind to be like hey grandma why do you like the ml, y’all seem so close, do you know him, no she just assumed the ml was sucking-up to the grandma
3. The ml has saved her countless times, but she has no trust in him, again never tried to get to know him, and has no concern for her safety. She puts herself in danger, then she finally notice that he was on a black ops team, and has a small team of his own
4. She knows that he is trying to protect her yet she travels to see what he is up too, we’ll duh protect you, that’s why he left you, but no, you show up, and then whaere are you? in the way, it never crossed her mind that maybe if she was not there the team can focus on what has to be done. I’m sure it did not.

If I would have know that the fl was going to basically come off as a weakling with a attitude problem, I probably would have not watched this. what’s really concerning is her best friend can fight and owns a gym, it never crossed her mind that maybe she needs to learn how to fight , a complete waste of a fl.

Others may like this drama, I think the ml did a great job, with what he had to work with, just be aware that once you get to the episodes in the 20s, buckle up buttercup, because when you get to the last episode you may feel disappointed, it definitely was rushed, and a lot of things did not get answered or resolved.

Simply Put

You all I just want to say that the ML, put everything in to this role, when I say he protrayed every emotion, I was there for everyone of them, from mad, to awe, to jealousy, to love, and sadness.... I will definitely be looking out for other works from him, cause he did that, in this drama..... also I'm not say the other cast member were bad or anything, they had a great cast the FL was consistant all the way through, she did a wonderful job.

I'm more of a main couple person, I'm really not into side character relationships because it always seem like they move really fast and the main couple has to go through a struggle, I rather see that struggle, then to see side characters going out to eat, but thats just me.

Forgettable

While scrolling through my completed list i came across this title, and read the synopsis and though whoa, i must have made a mistake; for it to already have a rating by me.... welll apparently i did watch it, and needless to say i can see why i forgot it. It is a very long and drawn out drama, and as i sit here rewatching and skipping through scenes, I'm trying to remeber what happens in the end.... i can only remember a episode as I'm skipping through, if that's not sad i dont know what is..........

So........ That Happened

Keep in mind that this is just my opinion, nothing more
There is nothing wrong with this version, but I can say that I did not come with an open mind, The Chinese version is a lot to live up to.
When you watch this come with no expectations and think of this as a new show and not a remake.
This version is very light, innocent and a little naïve.

The couples are drastically different, I didn't feel any chemistry between either couple, and communication is definably lost in translation. I would say when I got to episode 10 things started to drag for me and I started skipping through.

Truth be told I really only watched this to see Lin Yi cameo, I normally do not watch remakes but with the temptation of Lin Yi appearing I really wanted to see how they tide this together.

In the Chinese version they were very much a cute couple, it was in the way that they interacted with each other.
Lin Yi really pulls off any role that he plays and Xing Fei is just adorable.

Not for me, slow pace, lost interest

This was a very draggy show for me, i skipped from ep 6 to 16 just to get it over with, many people like this show and that’s fine, it does have deep meanings to it and I’m not siding with anyone, everyone will take something different from it, but it was just to slow for me and it also had to many couples, you have 3 main couples and then is just splits from there, with everyone cheating, either emotionally of physically. Relationships are about give and take equally, communicating, and listening, if that’s a problem, then the relationship has a problem.

Well

So I decided to watch this because I just watched “When A Snail Falls In Love”. Boy was this a mistake, I don’t have many words for this.

It is long and drawn out, I never got to the plot, I made it to episode 4 of full watching and all the way to episode 15 skipping through and jumped to episode 50 to get it over with.

I don’t know if it was long and drawn out, the delusions of a lot of the characters, to the color white that the main fl always seems to be in or how no one knows how to explain themselves.

I would not recommend watching 50 episodes of this
