A BL that tries to be a "real" K-drama
Although the boring story, the simplistic characters, the weird dialogues and the fixation on hating a murderer's son (like, what?) are very disappointing, it still makes for a somewhat enjoyable watch, as fan service is taken somewhat seriously.
The production value, the acting and the kisses are fine.
If the love story had been better, I could have overlooked the boring crime story. If the crime story had been better, I could have overlooked the romance on the back burner. But as it was, I was left disappointed. To be fair, that's a feeling I often get from K-dramas — so in that sense it succeeded in being a "real" K-drama and not "just" a BL.
