Stuff like this blows my mind. People will acknowledge the message of the movie and then turn around and say everyone…
Honestly that being the humour of 80s and 90s is understandable (though never okay) because those were different times. If it was period film, I might have given it a pass. But celebrating bigotry and misogyny in 2024 in no excuse. Esp since the movie's premise is the guy getting upset because he was fired for being a misogynist and dressing up as a woman to subvert his punishment, and we are supposed to cheer for this asshole when he realises that women are people too
I‘m so over dramas and movies where (male) characters only learn to respect women by experiencing the sexism…
While I agree with you, blaming the actor for the script or dialogies is ridiculous. Honestly, I thought it would be like Tootsie, where the guy (desperate and unemployed) dresses up as a woman to take a job because that's what they want (a female secretary). The boss wanted a sexy girl to harass, this guy's alter is 40 something auntie who knows how to put him in his place.
i dont wanna have any spoiler but the ending 😭 but nobody says anything to the ending :( and every new info…
We already have a sequel in ULS. I thought this was sequel of ULS since Gongchan is in the cast list and he only knew them afterwards. Dong Hee and Tae Joon (ML of ULS) were friends, they didn't know Gongchan until much later.
Praise be to the BL/gay gods. They have bestowed upon us a bounty of BL/gay goodness, and I am forever grateful!…
Looking at the news coming from that company, I don't think it made any difference anyways. The drama worked so well and they are still in a loss and shafted their employees and the cast and crew.
I wonder how many more bls they will have to censor to pay-off the subsequent lawsuits?
Honestly it does sound like that. These animal's are getting paid nothing. The owner will make a little bit of…
Animal actors do get, wdym? There takes a cut but most money goes towards their diet, training, grooming/dressing, photo sessions, a cut will be taken by their agency and manager etc. Plus, their pay depends on their role and screentime, like all actors.
Are you sure? It's advertised as a romance/love story on Netflix, there will likely be romantic elements: https://x.com/netflix/status/1806462590530224384
I mean... Most j-bls, the cast has bodice reaper chemistry but then they kiss like misophobic grandma.
I admit I haven't watch this show, but I'm not sure if u have read the manga or watched the original J-drama, but esp read the manga, it is damn frustrating even at the source. Like Aoki's self esteem is in the basement and Ida is emotionally constipated. The J-drama condensed everything in 8eps and even that was frustrating.
Just because someone doesn't agree with the gay lifestyle doesn't make them a homophobic. I've come across lots…
That's LITERALLY what homophobia means. Also, it doesn't matter if u agree with a ceryain lifestyle or not. If u are not a part of it, or funding it, it's none of your bloody business. I dont eat beef because of religious reasons. I dont walk upto every person who does, say they are going to hell because they don't follow the rules set by my religion.

They usually have solid romances but lesser intimacy. I feel it will be slow burn with amazing cinematography, great chemistry and end with a couple of soft dead-fish kisses as they both hug and stare lovingly at each others. The end (Edit: OST to die for, fingers crossed)
People, this is not BL. It's censored. IDEK why, it just feels homophobic to censor a queer romance esp in SK…
It's not a fluffy bl. Japanese gay romances are more mature and LGBTQ+ centric. I feel like it will be similar to HIS or Close Knit in terms of story telling, than your standard cutesy romcom bl.
