"...with his agency releasing a statement expressing grief over the actor's passing and urging the public…
have u EVER gone 7 days without sleep while doing physically taxing work in a high stress environment on an empty/half-full stomach??? I have. I almost lost half my face to palsy caused by nervous collapse. Took months of therapy to stop looking like Harvey Two-face from Batman. Had to move from a metro city to a remote village because my body can't sensory overstimulation anymore. Even the type of perfumes and soaps I use has to be carefully monitored. All because when I was that guy's age, I didn't understand and care for the limits of my body.
Also, never mind that. I was looking for his dramas after commenting here, when I came across a CCTV footage of his last moments (idk if it's still up, or they took it down) and it looked more like an accident - it seemed like he had fallen down the stairs or something. I am not going to speculate anything further anymore... whether he slipped because he tired or drunk, but it doesn't seem like a suicide. And from what I understand, he was planning a livestream for his upcoming dramas just minutes before that.
that's a good question! Many young talent actors, actresses, singers are dying in China/ SK... and all so young…
Exhaustion and overwork. Actors and idols have too much stress these days because of the intense competition. Also unlike earlier, these people now have no freedom when off-camera either because social media and fans are extremely invasive. in 90s/2000s unless you were EXTREMELY popular like Tom Cruise/Brad Pitt level famous, you could walk around a grocery store without anyone knowing or shoving in their faces. Exposure was a CHOICE. Now, they can't even fart in public without it turning into some kind of career-ending scandal. It takes severe mental toll.
Not to mention, if u follow ANY kpop group, you'd know just how stressful and hectic their schedules are. Lots of idols who completed military have openly said that military service was MILD and easy compared to their actual jobs because they were fed well and allowed to sleep during service. And don't forget that actors/idols are KIDS...barely in their teens when they start working. There are even others who joined the agency in their 10s or early teens. They debut at 15-16 these days, which was once considered as "child actors" (and thus, subject to child labour laws) but these idols debut as adults and thus they are not afforded the special treatment of "child actor" anymore, even though legally and physically they are still kids.

He is short drama actor. My money is more on death due to exhaustion and overwork. Shen Haonan, in one of his interviews, said popular actors (like this guy) were doing one drama very 10-15 days and had 30-40 releases per year (if u check his filmography, it seems about right). So, they had absolutely no breaks or breathing periods between shoots. He was looking pretty sickly in his recent dramas.
This was a common problem with Indian TV stars during 2000-2010s when Indian TV was in its Ekta Kapoor "Golden Era". Suicide due to stress, deaths due to exhaustion and overwork, deaths due to drug overdose because the actors couldn't handle the pressure and intense competition.... Short drama industry seems to be entering the same phase now.
Not necessarily. It could have been anything, but they don't want rumours to spread because that only causes hurt…
nope... if it was accident or illness, they'd openly state it. Especially, illness. It's suicide or exhaustion since he was a short drama actor and we all know just how overworked they are. They are doing one drama every 10-15 days with almost no breaks in between. Esp popular ones like this guy.
Ok Taecyeon protects his privacy FIERCELY !!!!!HOW DARE YOU DO THIS.HOPEFULLY YOU HAVE TO PAY A LOT. APOLOGIES…
Because they are two different things. Paris leak was photographer's gaffe. They were paid professionals but they were posting pictures of their clients' privates moments on their website without consent. He wasn't the only client whose pictures were leaked, he just happened to be the most famous one. They weren't even apologetic about it (saying we do it to everyone, not just him) and they got a backlash because the people who hired them had never given any consent for sharing their personal pictures or details. It was a massive breach of client confidentiality and privacy.
The wedding leak happened because the person staying at that hotel happened to see a wedding ceremony out their window and took pictures without thinking. Then they realized it was Taecyon's wedding, so they shared. It wasn't a professional breach of client privilege.
and y'all are sharing tree climbing sasaeng pics of a private wedding because ???
the leaker said she was staying at the hotel and happened to catch a wedding ceremony out her window, so she took the pics for fun. THEN she realized she'd stuck gold, so she shared them.
When two consenting adults love each very very much, and they want the govt to get involved in their relationship......
Taecyeon's fiancée is reportedly four years younger than him and works in the corporate sector. She has maintained a low profile, especially as she is not a part of the entertainment industry. The couple has been together for over ten years, making their wedding a significant milestone in their long-term relationship. Fans have expressed their curiosity about her identity but have respected their privacy.
if the script was plagiarized work, they might not credit it. What I mean is, this drama might not be a remake, but the original script it is adapting could be a plagiarized copy of Golden Spoon.
What doesnt fit in your opinion? They got married last year and had the ceremony now.
Registration is important. Ceremony is just for photos. Most people spend so much time on that frou-frou that they forget what really matters is the two individuals and the little paper to validate their relationship. Maybe they feel the need to make a big deal at first, but then they just decided to do a big thing. Who knows.
Finally finished it, and I HATE it when they try to redeem garbage people. Of course in the last episode, the main villain, Wei Yan (another unjustly framed Wei) was the victim of scheming. Rather than having a competent man take deliberate actions leading to a disastrous path, push of all responsibilities on others.

money? most of the guests - 2pm and the wife works in media as well (I remember that interview), so maybe they needed a while to arrange everything. I mean, they were together for 10 years, they already registered and got a license. Wedding ceremony is just a formality for the guests, not like it will affect their lives. They can have it whenever.
Looking at his Biography here on MDL it says "In 2025, he married his non-celebrity girlfriend and announced…
He registered his marriage/got a license in 2025 and wrote a letter to his fan. They recently held a private wedding ceremony (maybe money or time, or other arrangements idk). The pictures of that ceremony were leaked.
Hi! This is the drama I'm looking for... in the msg
lmao... I have seen her in a lot of works, always looking depressed af (not surprising since she is usually getting abused). Anyways, she has a new drama with Haonan... it's on youtube. I might catch it later
