Can't really blame the productions tbh. Physically, I'm about the same size as her, and it's only recently that I have started finding "GOOD" clothes in my size which don't break my bank account (I shop at 6XL btw, and my measurements are 48-45-50). Not like they didn't make clothes for fat people earlier, but when I was growing up, I either wore my mom's clothes or wore those ugly tent-thingies that made me look like a middle-aged auntie. I pretty much exclusively wore men's jeans and tshirts. Thankfully, things are changing now lmao.

But, coming back to these c-dramas, they are generally low-budget productions which share sets and costumes with other teams. Most actresses have similar sizes, so they buy these clothes in bulk with standard measurements. Therefore, for actresses whose body shape doesn't fit the norm, they have to go out of the way to arrange for costumes which might increase the production cost. So, they will buy the cheapest thing available since it won't be reused by others.

She has a few dramas where she is the main FL. She has 2 collabs with Ni Hao San where she stays until the end, one with Lu Yunhao as well.

ML is great as an oblivious narcasstic love-brain. He is exactly what I wanted from Park Seo Joon in Secretary Kim kdrama. He is the comic-accurate Lee Yong-joon lmao.

Cai Maio Yan x Yan Ting. FL gets bullied A LOT, but she is no wallflower. She bites, pulls hair, fights back, raises a stink...and holds her own until ML shows up to save her. There's no green tea, just her family acting like utter aholes. ML and his mom are sweethearts though. P.S. not exactly hidden identity, since ML never actually hid anything. FL misunderstood him because ML and her dad have the same belt (but ML's is 100K genuine brand item while her dad picked up a $100 knockoff from a street vendor, not that FL knows or cares)

Are you sure the ML is Li Si Yan? There is a drama with similar plot but ML is Yan Ting who usually plays scumbag roles. One of the very few dramas where he plays a green flag

yep...real bromance. Yashe donghua (it should be on youtube as well) is more bromance than the live-action, but live-action doesn't cheat us of the emotions and eye-contacts and "soulmates who are close brothers".

no romance... it's adapted from a bromance donghua called YaShe. It's more like Doctor Who or Warehouse 13, where Bi Zhi, a time traveler from 50th century, travelled to past for fun and fell into "bromance" with a hunted nobleman Qin Zi Yi who was framed and murdered for his inheritance. He kept trying to change history to save his friend, only to keep messing the timelines in vain, until time police got involved. For every timeline he screwed up, something from Qin Zi Yi's personal treasury vanished into that timeline...and it was his job to collect everything and restore that timeline to the way it was, or face execution by Time Corps. And that's how he ends up in 2024 China, as a small-time "antique dealer" and owner of the shop called "YaShe" (it was the name Qin Ziyi had suggested when Bi Zhi told him he wanted to settle down). He meets and teams with a failed veterinarian Su Bei Lu who may or may not be a reincarnation of Qin Ziyi.

It's Wang Gege, so you can go in blindly. Absolutely worth the watch
