Well said! I completely agree 100%. Even I had forgotten the part where Kang had actually tracked down Sailom's…
Calling their chemistry as bromance is an insult to br-dramas, like Untamed or WOH (or hell, even straight bromances like My Detective Roommate). This was more of a lavender marriage, where they acted like they were in love but were actually thinking of grocery shopping and weather.
Also, u guys have me beat. I dropped at ep. 5 when I realised the best part of the show was the trailer (still my jam, btw)
also, i thought it was really cool that they talked about abortion in that period of time
Abortions were pretty common back then, and not even a taboo. Esp. if the father was a white/colonizer or a rich lord. In fact, in some cases, they were actively "encouraged".
Agree with you, but isn't this the "fuel" that keeps them alive and in the public's attention? There are 2 official…
Uh.... Millions of celebs, some even bigger names than Jisoo have successfully kept their private lives private or sectioned (only selective parts are public). If u think it is easier to accidentally "leak" in 2023, u are naive af. There are layers and layers of PR before the news comes to public (as a former pap myself, it is next to impossible for news to accidentally get out no matter famous the celeb is). So, whatever u see here, is whate they have specifically released to the public so it can be gossiped about and commented on and that is how they pay their bills.
dude.. wake up and smell the coffee .. the writing is on the wall.. they weren't even dating in the first place..…
Uh.... That's exactly how PR relationships work. You qre probably confusing PR-ship with Blind Gossip (a rumour spread by a 3rd party that they neither confirm or deny... More often than not, it is the blind rumour that is the actual truth, and public relationships are PR, unless there is a big commitment like marriage or pregnancy).
I think the only reason they broke up so fast was because it backfired... They are gearing Jisoo for mainstream and she needed a partner to carry her to more than kpop fans. He is already a well-established actor, so he probably seemed like a safe bet. Unfortunately, they underestimated the Blinks (or maybe they realised that Jisoo doesnt exactly need a PR-ship, could be either).
Lmao. I saw the trailer yesterday and was like "it looks disturbingly like Ideal Relationship" and lo and behold!…
They have been adapting thai bl novels. It is probably harder to buy rights to an international work, esp since Korea-bl industry has the first call to them.
I hope they follow the webtoon because it just adorable no drama fluff.
Wal isn't exactly bad guy in the webtoon. MC/Guy has crush on his popular playboy extrovert who keeps prioritizing his girlfriends over Guy and treating his casually (basically, he would be a scum asshole ex-boyfriend in any other bl). He does get angry and upset when Tiew comes into picture, but it is later revealed that it was because he afraid that he was losing his childhood best friend (he is possessive to an extent, MY best friend) and (b) he was worried that Guy was being tricked by some guy he met online (Guy just keeps calling him "a hyung I know/ hyung I met online)... And of course he was worried that his 20yr old best friend was hanging out with an actual middle-aged (mid 30s) GANGSTER, so kept trying to break them up (he thinks Guy is being blackmailed or threatened, and got protective lmao). He really loves Guy (but as a best friend). There are no romantic feelings between them.
I just hope they dont make it love triangle in the drama.
This is one of my favorite BL webtoon and I am 100% sure the story is going to be really amazing.
