The rabbit armor protected his life omg. I wouldn't ever wanna be on the opposite side of Ling Buyi in a fight. Seriously like damn he was like a lone wolf in that fight sequence. So amazing!

I get it. LBY/HWS hid sm from CSS. She still gave him many opportunities to tell her the truth and he was about to too, but just couldn't. I get that she feels abandoned all over again. This is just breaking my heart.

I just got goosebumps this whole episode. Love Leo Wu and Zhao Lu Si's acting. Ik the death of his mother/aunt just pushed him more to a cliff and now he feels like has to fulfill his promise to never forget what happened to Huo clan and his family, and take revenge sooner.

Damn Ling Buyi is actually Zheng Wushang and General Huo is his father, that's why they look similar. Kinda knew something was off, because they kept saying General Huo and LBY look similar.I feel bad for LBY though. The whole revenge arc makes so much more sense now. He had to pretend to be somebody else and live as someone else his whole life. He wants to avenge his father's death.LBY actually scared me while interrogating Peng Kun. This drama just keeps getting better and better.

Kinda felt bad for Lou Ben and Wang Yan Ji. Am I the only one who feels bad for them? I know the path he took to achieve his goal was absolutely wrong and I'm not trying to dismiss that.He just wanted to live freely w/o his uncle's suppression in his career and his family. She wasn't even able tell him she was pregnant. Damn every episode is getting emotional now.

This episode was just so heavy. It took me a while to collect all of my thoughts. How can we not fall for our main characters?! I think this situation CSS and LBY are in just solidified their relationship in a deeper level. They connect with each other sm, understand each other and always comfort each other. I am really worried about General Cheng though. I hope he is fine. This episode just puts so much light in Ling Buyi's character and we can understand how much the revenge is important for him. He doesn't want Cheng Shao Shang to face a fate similar like he did as a child. Ughh ik further episodes are just gonna break my heart into millions of pieces.

I feel so bad for Cheng Shao Shang. She grew up being bullied and abused in her home by her own people. She learnt to protect herself from those situations by her own means. And, now when she felt she would be protected by her parents, her mom just goes out and abuses her further. What the mother doesn't get is that CSS needs love and safety, not abuse in the name of "discipline".I get that she wants to teach her proper manner and all that, but THERE IS ALWAYS A BETTER WAY. She's your freaking daughter, not your soldier who you used to discipline using physical force. Like come on, DO BETTER! You are supposed to be the smart one here. ?
