I really don’t want anything to happen to ML’s company, merger and acquisitions? Literally the worst things for small businesses, whenever that happens the owner end up losing control and the quality of the products goes down. I don’t understand why the drama took that route cuz I’m not cheering on the FL, at all. I quite literally need her to fail so he can operate his business as is, and in peace.

Can we talk about Dong Joo? I understand why viewers are mad at him. He stole someone else's work and passed off…

And I’d like to add there are many MANY problematic characters that I’ve criticized, while I can’t say he’s the worst, he’s definitely somewhere in my top 20. I actually am not sure I want character development atp, at least not w/o the consequences of “going too close to the sun”. And I dare say anyone who would try to justify these actions has some reflecting to do. An explanation isn’t the same as an excuse; something that Kdrama watchers tend to forget.

Ehhh yea I can’t feel bad for him. Even if it was by accident, he ran a kid over with his car, lied about not having their belongings, and stole a manuscript he later passed off as his own. I’m not saying this lightly, I understand from personal experience how desperate a person facing financial difficulties can be, but I would never resort to such methods and then proceed to throw my own pity party all the while hiding someone’s own identity from them. That’s just. . . it takes a special type of person to pull off something so inexplicably evil. Mind you, I love characters that are flawed, it leaves food for thought and usually elevates the storytelling— but only when the characters have some redeeming qualities.
