Honestly feel like dropping this, but will continue since there are just 2 more episodes left
- The Akari Shopping Street residents are very badly written and portrayed, very one-dimensional. The ladies seem superficially and exaggeratedly "warm and friendly", and the two main old men don't seem to have any common sense - e.g. Eito's father didn't learn his lesson after lending in debt once, and even invested the money of others the second time!
- There are multiple plot holes. The most recent and obvious one: Eito knows that Vena Bank is unreliable, and yet he still tries to find land for them rather than exposing them??
Just a bit confused about the transition between Episode 9 and Episode 10. Ogawa brought Nagisa back to the past, but we didn't really see what she did there and how she managed to return to the future?
Anyone else feels less sympathy for Tono than we are supposed to?
I mean, he recklessly chased after the criminal despite Kazama ordering him not to. And his reason for wanting to be a detective at all costs is ... meh.
- Satoh Takeru looks great with short hair and a tan
- Episodes 10 and 11 are tear-jerkers (especially Episode 10)
- Episode 12 wasn't my favourite, from a historical standpoint. Anyone else felt a little uncomfortable about the one-sided portrayal of Japan as having been "forced" into war and as the victims?
The characters are also one-dimensional and difficult to root for.
The current average rating of 7.9 is way too low.

One thing that has been preventing me from enjoying it more is that none of the characters are likeable. Even the female detective is annoying.
The last 2 episodes brought it down to 8 - 8.5.

The mystery part was a bit lame though - what Aoi did to escape her husband and how the whole thing was wrapped up so easily in Ep 10

Besides, I also enjoyed the cuteness of Yamaki!!
