I’m sorry if the truth annoys you, but I’m tired of the double standards y’all apply to NutHong when other BL cps have played queer characters who liked/loved each other but didn’t end up together (and some played roles from original scripts where a couple endgame was never confirmed), yet nobody called them bromance. It seems y’all just can’t fathom two group members being a BL cp, so you're pushing the bromance narrative onto them

In the meantime, I’ll be waiting to see if y’all will start calling SingChimon bromance if their characters don’t end up together in Match Point. I hope you keep that same energy for them too

Who said they’re bromance?? Y’all just keep assuming it and putting this label on them when the facts are that they’ve accepted playing queer characters and could’ve chosen not to if they wanted to do bromance. You don’t know how their storyline will go and even if they don’t end up as a couple, it doesn’t erase the fact that they’re playing queer characters.

Do you think it will be this month?

In the interviews they gave after the line up, they said we have to wait and see if they end up together and that it’s up to how the script will be written, which means the possibility is there. Whether they end up together or not in the series doesn’t erase the fact that they are portraying canonically queer characters, and they know about the novel involving their characters having a romantic relationship (Hong is literally reading the 23 novel). Besides, they’ve already played queer characters in ThamePo too, so it doesn’t seem like they’re shying away from BL. And I can use the same logic as you - if they were going to do bromance, they could’ve been open about it and say so from the beginning like the two bromance duos, but they didn’t.

They didn’t say their characters are Phi-Nong and they’re not like SkyNani and DewTee because NutHong’s characters are queer in the novels and they have their own, separate novel where they are romantically involved with each other. Meanwhile, SkyNani and DewTee's series are based on original scripts, created for them as bromance projects and they were even put them in the non-queer category during the lineup.
