I really wish Viki would just hire subbing teams. Waiting over 2+ days for subs is frustrating when people have already watched it and talking about it so it ruins it for those who haven't yet...
This is me just ranting. I'm grateful for subbers who spare their time for free. I think Viki should pay them too, especially since many pay for a subscriptions.
Skimmed through EP1 and yep still not a fan of Wayu (tbh tho never been a fan of Bas' acting or any of his characters he's just not my style and im quite shallow and picky lol) and Thanu so most likely wont watch until the series finishes and just watch MarkKit scenes.
Glad to see a S2 though as I think some characters deserved more screen time :)
How it usually is. They do the preorder until a certain date, so they can estimate the demand. I didn't expect it would start delivering before Mid Feb.
I like this plot. It has taboo subjects like cheating; it's a different perspective and it happens in life even in LGBT community it's about time companys got bold and explored different topics around relationships.
I like how it's going to explore different people and their stories. And how complicated humans and life can be.
I don't usually like cheating in series UNLESS it's done well (not treated lightly or instantly forgiven) and done for a reason that adds to the story like TWM: The next chapter. I'm really interested in seeing a series potray it in POV of both main characters.
I wasn't a big fan of the earlier episodes and nearly stopped watching because it seemed messy(?) and choppy; some things didn't add up or were forgotten and I couldn't attach myself to any of the characters especially the cop with his daughter and how it ended there. But I prefered the last couple of episodes as it had a little more depth to it, I liked the main characters more too, I'm glad the lawyer stayed on. I liked the open ending for a possible s2.
Overall, I think it had too many characters with random backgrounds that didn't have a lot of rhyme or reason to improve. It also never had a set main character really so it changed pov often and was never any character development. I think it could have been a great drama if they had not just pushed a lot of things into a 6 episode drama and had built up a few characters
The message of the series is very clear. It's not deep or hidden where you have to piece things together to find. It's quite obvious. But I felt like it just wasn't delivered across as good as it could have been.
Jun is my bias and I'm really excited to see more of his acting! I think he has great potential to do great - he's done great in the minor roles he's had.
Jun has often shown support for LGBT even before the OST so I'm very proud to see him support it further through acting.
I was going to watch this for Gameplay because I loved him in Ingredients and because he lost out on KinnPorsche (the series kept getting pushed back and almost cancelled that it eventually overlapped with this series - I think). But the plot is terrible and not really much of a plot at all to be honest. I'm not keen on the actor who plays First. And to be very honest, love triangles as main plots are one of my least favourite genres.
I really tried to like the first episode but I had no interest at all after 10 minutes of it...
I didn't know it was Tae who is playing the main lead! His face looked familiar but the longer hair and tache threw me off! I just looked up the cast list and had "ah-ha" moment >.<
I loved him in 2 moons (I had hoped for more of him but MV were assholes).
