I have only seen Where Your Eyes Linger where the main plot is almost the same. And the similarities are so glaring so that is why I wrote what I wrote. That is why I used that as an example even if there is hundred others and because it was made before Golden Blood. It is my opinion anyway and for me it is a similar copy that is very badly made.

So, frustrated and angry rant. Mostly because of what happened. Episode and acting was great!
Sun Ah dropping the necklace over the railing made my blood boil but little did I know that she would *takes a deep breath* screw up everyone else too. I liked K alright. He did not deserve that. And then she hired those goons to beat or even kill Ga On. I mean...
And then the family separating even if Yo han tried in his best way to comfort Ga On. I just hate everything in this episode because it was rough to watch. And Yo Han should skin her alive and boil her in tar. I just feel sorry for everyone (except you know who they are) in this episode.

Not at all! I actually like Ga On, because he is different from the rest. I can't stand Seon Ah. And after episode 12 I hate the character which is a strong word, but deserved.
Without spoilers, I am just so SO glad atm. because of many things. And happy that it was not that easy now, is it? Heh... First series ever I watch live without subtitles. Just love the dynamic and who is really influencing who? We shall see.
I thought I would celebrate another "The Devil Judge" weekend with something nice.
What is it you like about the Devil Judge?
I really like (In random order): 1. The dark atmosphere the series has but it also has a glimmer of hope. 2. The music score, OST is so fitting and on point. 3. The chemistry with the two main male leads is phenomenal. 4. Directing, some of the scenes make my jaw drop. I mean the explosion comes to mind immediately and the car chase. 5. All the characters are good in their own way. 6. I do like the story too with the calmer and more action packed episodes. 7. The show makes me theorize a lot, LIKE A LOT and I hardly can wait for the next episodes. 8. It has something for all.
On a re-watch of episode 8 few things caught my eye.
- The prison guard seemed to look at Yo Han in certain way so I wonder, if he truly orchestrated this some way to get Ga On on his side. Somethings fishy.
- We talked with a friend that it is weird the others don't see Ga On's resemblance with Yo Han's brother, but maybe the answer is simple. 1. The brother had Clark Kent protection with the glasses OR 2. Those people care about themselves and are arrogant so Yo Han's brother did not mean anything for them than money aka they can't even remember what he looked like, because they don't care.
- I am pretty sure that Yo Han will remember those pearls that were on Sun Ah's neck that she gave to Jin Joo. I mean he would not forget what he saw with the cross. It is easy to see who has influenced her then.
So, I do hope Yo Han was kidding about killing Ga On. He could just fire him and that would be that. I am not sure if he just said that to make the henchman's mind at ease. I also hope that Ga On is not fully on Yo Han's side because that would be boring. I hope he keeps his skeptic mind, because all of the guys Yo Han has (Let's not kid ourselves here) he is using them fully and I am not really sure if he cares about them at all. I think the separation from the law friend might have been just to put up a show for Yo Han.
For the preview of next episode I am skeptic too. Would Ga On really go that far? I think it might be a red herring for us like many other things has been. He looked scary tho. Aaaaand I guess those guys are now happy when Ga On is finally not living with Yo Han and Elijah, although Yo Han is not ready for let him out of the house that easily.
And Yo Han really does not like Sun Ah at all. That is pretty clear.
Thoughts after episode 7:While it is close to entertainment masterpiece, there are more and more ridiculous plot…
On some of your points I would rather think not everything needs to be explained or maybe they will be. Who knows. She told the vague story from the start which she probably used to the old dude. Pile of evidence, blackmailing and making it so he couldn't do anything. That could have been accomplished in many different ways, but if that information is not important for the story. It will remain as the vague story that we got.
And why would Ga On want to check on the con artist? It reminds him of only bad stuff when he almost took a human life too. It is reasonable that when he was judged, he thought it was all over and would not want to remember any of that stuff and just move along? Or maybe he did check on him? But why go face to face? Who in their right mind would if he could just call them to ask the information. (that is false but oh well). Anyway, the sentence was given and he believed that was so. No need for the check up.
Jin Joo has not been shown as the Brainiac. I mean she fan girls Yo Han who is her "boss". (That is not healthy in real life btw and not here either). But it has been shown pretty well from her actions that she would be easily swayed like this.
I would rather call it smart writing, because some things are more important to focus on than others. In sun Ah's case. I just can't stand the character even if there is a good reason she is like she is. But she is a baddie so... not much loss there. I'm rooting for Ga On and Elijah. Soo Hyun's puppy dog love towards Ga On annoys me to bits, because she would not be irritating character if she would just take the hint...
Not sure if this is spoilers because it is generally what I think. Jump over if you want to be sure. :)
I know many think that Ga On is too naive (I like him this way because I don't want everyone cut out from the same tree), but my heart is breaking for him. Just let him be good and leave him alone. And yes, I truly know what Yo Han is doing will push him to the wrong side. (Hopefully not for good) :P I also believe now that one reason he lets Ga On still stay in the house is keep him away from his "good side" aka his lady friend and her "bad" influence. Jin Young really showed his acting chops in this episode. Wow.
It is the Devil Judge day! I have waited for episode 7 so much... Even watched Vincenzo meanwhile. The action scenes were really good on that one, but after watching I really appreciate the chemistry the main leads truly have in the Devil Judge.
